I appreciate the report. I've been trying to decide whether to take a look at it since it was posted here earlier this morning. I think I'll wait for the next update and some new content to start from scratch.

Better wait for more content, cause this update just likely a introduction as a part of ep1, there are still more parts of ep1 will be updated. Hope the ep1 full version has enough content to play in the future.

but, after speaking with Selena in the alley, I seem to be stuck in the restaurant
I've spoken to everyone I could, now all I'm getting is "I don't want to disturb them" or "I've already spoken to them"

The only way out is by clicking on an empty seat. Then you will be prompted to end free roam.

To exit free roam simply click on one of the empty red seats. It will then ask you if you want to exit the free roam session.

The game is pretty much completely revamped from the earlier effort. This new version is focused on setting up the storyline and the characters. So don't expect much adult content in this version.

this game is boring as fuck. how is it that the mc's gf at the beginning messages him and breaks up with him for his being rejected for uni literally at the same time he is reading his email? sounds fishy to me.

I agree this is an issue. I will see if I can get the dev to fix this.

I found that out after I applied the fix
without it, I would not have been able to click on the empty seat

Yes, I was told by the dev that you need to delete the "persistent" save file in your game folder and in your "Users" RenPy folder, otherwise you will not be able to replay any scene in free roam. I am proof reading the game and ran into this issue numerous times.

There is a bug in the free roam of Episode 1 Part 1 that can cause the player to get stuck and not move forward. This happens only if you talk to all characters except Jake.

I’ve fixed this issue and I’m providing two-two separate files:

• ✅ Two for Special Edition
• ✅ Two for Standard Edition

How to Apply the Fix

1. Open your game folder (Special or Standard).
2. Go to this path:

1. Copy the provided .rpy files into this folder.

Didn't work for me either, so I removed the fix and went back to the original file. If you can't click on the red seat to exit free roam try deleting all "persistent" and "auto" save files in the games save folder and in your "User/RenPy" save folders.

ive done all that i guess ill wait for next update the dev knows theres something wrong and shouldve redownloaded it with the fix
