Well, first off thank you for the laughs as I needed them. This was a fun run but seriously waayyyy too short. Like you had better be planning on ending this game at version 6.05 and not 1.0. But I seriously have to ask, why does this game feel like it is penalizing the player for rejecting the women? Angel's attention-seeking through sex is boring and I want none of that, not saying it is bad but I think it should be fair to reject her. The same goes for not wanting to take advantage of a drunk Olivia and yet it comes right back to Angel. I realize that I am making a mountain from a molehill it's I just really don't like when choices are presented and then ignored. Anyway, here's hoping the next update is as large as the entire rest of the game so far.
Nope. This update and the next one will still be pretty short. And the game does not necessarily have just 5 updates remaining. There's a lot of game to come, yet.
As for penalizing the player, some people complain that the choices don't matter. Here you are complaining of consequences to your choices. Sometimes we can make what we believe is a good and right choice and get a negative reaction. Sometimes we can make a wrong choice and get a positive result (Jeopardy, RIP Alex). Currently I wouldn't say there's much penalty to not having sex. I would say there are no penalties - there are just different situations. Hell, to some the biggest penalty in the game is not getting to see Shannon smile and hug you if you choose to not have sex.
I will, however, sometimes come here to this forum and make fun of anyone who chooses to not have sex with hot women in a porn game, so I guess you could consider that a penalty.
As for Angel seeking attention through sex? It's because sometimes there are women out there who seek attention through sex. If she seeks attention through sex, do you think maybe that could lead to some destructive tendencies? Keep playing to find out!
For taking advantage of Olivia, I have to say I really like seeing the dichotomy. I don't think anyone has complained that Olivia took advantage of you to sell the house, but several have said they're not going to take advantage of Olivia in the car, even though she has expressed sexual interest in the MC throughout the whole game. There are no right or wrong choices, however (except the pineapple on pizza, of course) and you can expect more dilemmas in the future.
