There is no plot.
Don't get fooled like me. This line combined with little yap-heavy beginning made me skip a lot of it out of habit.
Only to realize at some point - hey, it's not half bad. And so I actually played the rest as intended.
I am little skeptical on the choices implementation, and dev can't decide if he wants to use image based animations or video ones, but overall - it's like Being a DIK but good.

I quite liked this visual novel a few years ago, but the long wait time made me give up, and I didn't play this update because I didn't want to get stuck in another long wait, and it remains to be seen if the developers are trustworthy or not
Appreciate the compliment. The image-based animations will be changing to video in the next update. At least for the most part, anyways - there will still be places that use stills from animation, like: Episode 7 Spoiler - the Olivia sex scene.

We have games that are 10 or more years in development with no sight of being finished anytime soon, or are doing some kind of Tech update, and basically remaking a game for 3 years and giving it less content then it had before the "tech update" so I don't see why everyone is so butt hurt. If you don't want to support the Dev, don't and move on. This is a pirate site where we get all the games for free anyway.
i like the game, i enjoy his writing, i want to bang Shannon. for those reasons i will keep hoping he'll get his ducks in a row and stay the course.

I'm obviously not CB, but it won't be harem, a few updates ago we had to make a choice about which girl and only get their romanceable content now. There is absolutely nothing lewdable forced so far (but if you choose a path with a femdom girl for example, then you should probably expect to get femdom content).
Harem - not really. While Angel might be open to sharing you, that's not something Shannon would consider. Olivia's not going to have sex with her daughters.
I'm not sure what you mean by "will there be content". Generally my philosophy is to not force anything on you - though everything should make sense. If you get with Shirleen, for example, you should probably not expect a tender, loving relationship. It's likely you'd be able to get through the whole game without having sex with any character, which will of course have a Steam achievement for "holy shit you played a porn game and you didn't have sex, you idiot."
There will be no NTR.
There won't really be lesbianism but there'll almost definitely be a threesome.
Female domination is a tricky one, as some people here have been super sensitive to Shannon's antics and being "forced" to be a victim to her. All I can say here is that femdom is not my intent, BUT, you are not always in control in Unleashed.
The player is not currently forced into any path. If you spent the night with Olivia in Ep 6 and thus spent the morning with her in Ep 7, that does not mean in future episodes you can't get with the other girls. Things will play a bit differently, but the player will be able to enter everyone's vagina in one play-through.
The girls in their current Genesis 8 form wearing their Episode 1 Genesis 3 clothing.
sadly i think we've all hyped her up so much that she will be the carrot dangled in front of us for a very long time before we can actually get anywhere with her.
Shannon was always going to be a slow burn. It's less the carrot and more that it doesn't make sense yet. If she jumped on the player's dick in the morning of the next episode you'd all feel cheated.
