Best guess, it takes a day or 2 to run through the compressing software. So no link means they're in the process.

It was still in 8.6 not sure of 8.7. There is a Fan Fix from July that works.

Doesn't matter, you'll still trigger the bug even when you delete your old saves & started a new game. You're correct about that July post cuz that is 100% the issue.

It was still in 8.6 not sure of 8.7. There is a Fan Fix from July that works.

No, that doesn't work. It does nothing, I still have the same problem. The teacher loop happens every time I go to a new room. My current game is 0.8.0, I quit getting the new updates because this is still not fixed. It's been that way since late Feb when I first got the glitch. The glitch the dev refuses to acknowledge 7 months later, I even PM'd him. No reply.I even posted my save file. Nothing. Still broke and can't play the game.

Yeah, at first I didn't bring her home and was able to talk to the nun. After seeing rs used to randomize chat I brought her home to test. After the night home talk, I didn't talk to her again as I wanted to see the nun first. But got the error. Tried to reload before bringing her home and still error. Did a quick new game and first thing I did was find the nun. It was fine again.

I'm guessing this is the function that is messing it up

There are others like rs_chat and rs_reply, but I'd assume the suffix part would keep these from messing with the name.

Reran a test of changing rs to rosa for naming still worked even with Alice home, but I'm still on 8.6 so can't really upload it as a fix. It pretty easy if you have notepad ++ as it lets you replace words in all open docs at once.

After getting the fix, you have to redo the HJ scene again so it can clear the loop at the end.

At least one good thing about this game is that I'm starting to learn basic coding.
