I straight up just barely skimmed through it after I noticed the lack of punctuation. However, I understood his meaning, the less we are given and the longer it takes, the greater people will lose interest. I deeply enjoyed the game in its first incarnation and frankly saw no real issue with the mc or story. My expectations are not high for porn games but it was actually pretty good ngl. I never played the second incarnation because I made the wise decision to read people's feedback. I didn't want my experience ruined. The new version came out and I was initially happy with it until it became clear that there was not much there. So, I waited. I knew that the longer I waited, the more content I would have. Yet, I made sure to check up on progress and read what people said.
Now, I only keep the book mark and look over it while going through my bookmarks list. This the one time I decide to see. Unfortunately, I think that (just a theory) Waifston succumbed to feature creep. According to a Wikipedia definition: "Feature creep is the excessive ongoing expansion or addition of new features in a product, especially in computer software, video games and consumer and business electronics." - Wikipedia
I don't know but this seems to fit with what everyone else has been saying for a while now. At first, he worked on the main girls and the main features. However, he then felt like he needed to add more. Characters, locations, storylines, features, etc. This made sense since there were already hints of other characters. If the main characters were either completed or mostly completed, with future updates optimized and improving their paths, then these character could be reasonably be implemented. Unfortunately, it seems as though everything was done all at once, but in a less beneficial way. Main girls content would be cut until reimplemented and new girls would become the focus. He wanted to have his cake and eat it too. But there would always be more. On top of that, the story would be completely changed, which throws people off.
To be frank, all of the new girls and locations could have been added much later while also keeping the other girls' content. If improvements needed to be made, then they would be made while (possibly) including newer content. Or, whole game done and then improvement patches later on.
I will say that I know these updates take time, especially if only one person is working on it. Not all content creators work as efficiently and this must be considered, especially in this situation. I still believe that the end product will be good, whenever it comes out. A rushed game is just as bad, if not worse. But time is fleeting, people move on. I will wait patiently, but how many will also wait? Who knows.
Waifston, your game was good, and no doubt this version will be just as good, if not hopefully better. I wish you the best of luck, along with good health, both physical and mental. In no way am I trying to tell you how to make your game, I am in no position to do so nor have the power. I simply aired out an observation I made more than a year ago. If there is anything anyone disagrees with or has a comment on, do please reply.
TL;DR: Unlimited Pleasure seems to be suffering from feature creep, and the game could have had all the new content and characters after the main girls were done. But you all already knew that second half.

Totally agree with you. This game is so far as great as other games in my bookmark. Maybe the author ran into something stuck with this game but the best we can do is to be patient with gratitude. The remake version of the game imo, is actually better. I think the main characters (Alice , Elena , Bianca and Melissa) are good enough , though wouldn't mind add more , but that would be icing on the cake not a necessary thing.

How is the corruption aspect of the game? Do you get to change how the women act or dress? And are you able to fuck the landlady?

1: In my opinion there is no real "corruption" they all behave like sluts from day 1
you just have to give them stuff and date them to unlock new events.
2: no you can't manualy change clothes or behavior

I stopped playing after the GUI update, i think that was 4.1 or 4.2. I hated the new GUI, there was literally nothing wrong with the original.
The standard of English in the game as significantly dropped since the GUI update. The last time I tried it I think it was probably 6.3 or 6.4 I just binned it, I could barely comprehend half of what was written it was that atrocious.
Today I have no idea what the quality of English is like in this game, whether he got an english proof reader or not. I sincerely hope that he did and that the standard of English has improved significantly.
IMO he made changes where there was no need to make changes. There was nothing wrong with the earlier version of the game except the women where behaving like whores almost from the beginning. Having read some of the latest reviews, I think this will now go on ignore. There is absolutely nothing I like about the GUI and the game is not advancing. Feels like the dev is milking his patrons, even if he is the only person working on this game. A lot of time has gone by with not much happening it seems.

I agree and have news. I gave my own views on the state of the game earlier in the month. At the time I had not played fully since 0.4.2, and barely got into a newer update before not playing at all. BarneyAKQ told me that the game had improved greatly since and that I should see it. I redownloaded it and it felt like the same before with some improvements, but many issues. One, the English is very poor. It is understandable but the many mistakes are very noticeable.
Second, the thing that made me leave in the first place remains: no dialogue that increases romance. I do remember being able to talk the girls up and increasing their charm, with gifts being big bonuses. Now it is only gifts as far as I can see. It wouldn't be so bad if all of the odd-jobs that made you a lot of money were kept. But they are gone. Bianca's picture taking sessions were so great because they made money AND gave you nice pictures. I haven't gone too far in though so if I am wrong please tell me. Then there is the lack of the box that gave you money and gifts. That was real nice ngl, and the garage was pretty cool. AND now, the church minigame is a real pain in the ass. Call it a skill issue, but I cannot go past the first option. There is just too much going on and it angers me. The computer money is easy, I will say, but it glitches out often and I don't play the puzzle but get the money. There isn't a fun way to earn a lot of cash like before as far as I know.
Third is the lack of places, primarily the church and Kate's house. I see that she is an option in the gallery, but her house is nowhere to be found! Then there is the church. I have a quest that needs to be done but "it's being reworked." You can probably agree with my frustration upon finding out that it was accessible before in some updates, but not now. What's the point of the dang quest then?
Finally there is the damn heroine character. Now I love her arc so far and the scenes. The problem is THAT THEY DONT APPEAR IN THE GALLERY DESPITE SEEING THEM IN-GAME! Like bruh what. Idk if that is a glitch on my part or that her stuff is unlocked later. What I do know is that I can't go look at it again. The gallery itself is odd and not really too good. There is an entire unlockable character who has no scenes to unlock, but she's there anyway. What about that hero gal? Where's Kate? Why have the church gal if I can't access the church? The grinding I will have to do will bring me little joy. I waited a great deal of time and it's still messed up, AND THERES ALREADY (I assume) A NEW GIRL ON THE WAY IN THE NEXT UPDATE! I would add onto what is already there and then add new characters. There are entire gals missing.
TL;DR: English is quite poor still and many of the issues that drove me away from the remaster are still there and there's more issues.

At this point I gotta wonder, has Waifuston abandoned this project, whether it be due to life circumstances or by choice? There doesn't appear to be a discord or anywhere he is posting any messages, his patreon hasn't updated for a while now and even his very obscure twitter doesn't have any posts.

Just found this game can you unlock everything or are things missable? any tips would be helpful
Follow up im on Mac and when i talk to the two ladies by the rock with sex sketches the game just crashes anyone know how to fix?
