It's the same situation that happened with MyNewLife and MyNewLifeREMAKE (of beggar of the net)

And honestly(THIS IS A JOKE DON'T GO NUTS GUYS)...this version should be considered a NTR game because the MC gets to be emotionally destroyed the same way as the MC of an NTR-game...

The guy has:
A mother with every problem in the world: alcohol, smoking, gambling, hated by her family and also a bit abusive(she slapped MC and yelled at him) with an ungrateful job as a nurse who is going to also work for his own bitchy sister.
He broke both his hands and has a serious case of low self-esteem
He is hated(in this new version) even by those characters that liked him in the old version(like the teacher, who openly insults him in front of the principal)
He had issues that brought him to skip school a lot(it was mentioned that he built a PC, and it costed a lot, but he went cheap on the PSU...so I guess between his school-issues still managed to find a paying job for the sake of building that PC)
So his absence in school costed him a college recommendation...so he will not have an enjoyable career
Meaning that he, a physically weak guy who lives a miserable life, must find a barely decent job just to survive while also dealing with his non-existent confidence and self-esteem, and her mother's huge debt( because of her gambling...but i guess cigarettes and alcohol may cost a lot...i'm not a smoker or a drinker...so i don't really know)

And on top of this, we've yet to see the nanny, the young nuns, MC's childhood nerdy chubby friend and the pornstar....but if this is just the prologue...i'm extremely scared.

This MC and the one in MyNewLife, in their previous version, were miserable but with a glimmer of hope or they had someone truly supportive in their lives...but in their respective new versions...they feel like they're going through so much shit for so little reward Or always on the verge of losing everything

EDIT: i'm seeing a few facepalm emojis under this post...let me say: this is what it looks like so far, i'll be very happy to be proved wrong, either now or in the future now that my main issue with the previous version is fixed(the characters' lips...i didn't like them XD too big/plump, like the ladies went under surgery for having them XD)

So is this new version just a demo as of yet? Or is it the actual beginning of the remade game? I know that most if not all stuff gets overhauled so just wanted to make sure before jumping in.

I'm gonna be back when MC fuck the shit out of his mother.

I was wait for it since I noticed this game, and the game goes all the way back to the start from the point of it just happen.

Very disappointed.

I went quickly through the demo where MC is a super-wimp. The old game has a tag "male domination", so is it different and worth playing, or is it time to move on?

Its always the same old story when the dev runs out of ideas
they suddenly get the brilliant idea to remake the game
and its always the same bs excuses too . listen its getting really old
because even though you devs think we are stupid and will just buy it
we are not stupid we know damn well that the main reason you are remaking the game
is indeed quite simple you dont know how to further progress the story aka writers block .

So instead of working through you decide to remake the game and feed the people
pretty much the same story , characters and progression again in hopes to keep them on the hook
because of that sweet sweet patreon money .

I get it its a sweet deal you reuse the story and just concentrate on rendering the scenes
and you still get paid . Who knows how long it will take but it will be probably at least a year
till you catch up with the story as of 4.2 and you sure hope that you have the answers as to how
the story goes on when the time comes .

Spoiler Alert if this site has shown anything its that most games that start a remake
before they were even finished get abandoned sooner or later .

Now you can hate me or not but this needed to be said .
Maybe you will prove us wrong but I doubt it , this is most likely the beginning of the end .

But seriously, just think of the probably thousands of hours of work during the span of almost two years that are now being wasted, it’s just ridiculous!!!:mad:

And what you said about remakes and abandonment is true, now it’s just a matter of time for either the fans to get tired or most probably the developer himself.

You don't need to post in a game's thread before playing it, simple really. I liked the game before they decided to remake it but never posted here, didn't see the point (you download the game, you play it, you move on) and now, people being angry about it being remade, made them want to say something about it.

Man, I don't know what to say... Really. Seen all this negative feedback yet again, make me so upset. No, it was never about the writing block. Why am I do the whole rework thing? Because the old game had a lot of problems, from my perspective.
As I look at it right now, I see that I could do many things better, improve them. Give the player a far better experience. I could do better there, I could change that, I could improve this thing. The story isn't intriguing, the animations are static I could create far better ones now, the game mechanic is kind of boring.
About money... Just what are you talking about? Who is here milking money? I work as hard as I can on my game in my free time, if you could spend at least a minute playing the DEMO you could notice the efforts I made into it. True it's short, but I really put a lot of hours into it. I'm not just sitting on my butt thinking "oh I'm gonna milk those patrons for money and be doing nothing" My only intention is to make a damn good game, nothing else. And I'm going to do that, despite all this negativity I'm getting.
About updates... No, you won't have to wait a year for the new content, the updates will be released much faster since I have a lot of free time in the summer.

Sorry. I writing all this on emotions so it may seem like I being rude to you, but it's not. I understand you are upset, but believe me, the rework is worth it.
