Oof, no news from the dev since that post huh. I figured by now the dev the dev would have came up with some way to monetize the game, even if its not ideal. Really hope this doesnt get abandoned, but its looking grim

If you read that post there's not much left in the way to monetize the game. It's not magic, how to fund games, there are extremely limited options without SWIFT being involved.

Give them time, they either work on it or they don't, no need to declare it's dead without proof and silence isn't always proof. Especially so since the dev could have simply stated "I'm done" when they made that post, because they did go through all that effort to make an entire Patreon account just to post the situation.

He didn't declare it was dead he just shared a concern that alot of of us have he said he hopes the games not abandoned not that it is abandoned read carefully before you come to a conclusion

Merizmare I'm a bit late, I was just wondering why hadn't heard anything about the game and just saw the boosty was closed, and see it has been for a bit. I'll chime in as well to say it's a great game, with a good story, characters, art, and some of the best animations I've seen. I joined boosty solely to support this game. I hope it comes back, doing the "choose the relationship" workaround. You really need to do the tiers with different release dates. If I recall you'd posted the game here immediately yourself on release for free, which I think lost potential subscribers who would pay to get it a few days earlier.

Ive only just gotten up to the part where the MC and his mom get back home from their first date at the restaurant, so im not sure if this is still the case further into game so forgive me if its not still like this,

but the mc just seems to come off really dense and pathetic sometimes.

he has enough balls to rape all his family members in their sleep, but the second an actual situation is just about to happen with him and one of his family members, he always first wants to try to run away, change the subject, hide his arousal, or pussy out, until they basically have to force him to go through with the situation, and then all of a sudden he is all bold again.

like seriously is it so hard to have a mc that first of all is not a complete dense moron all the time,
and
secondly that has the same courage he has while he decides to rape them, that he has during potential intimate situations, with out first trying to hiding his boner, attempt to run away, or change the topic before he finally gives in.

it just gets annoying because i really like this game, the story, the models being insanely hot and attractive, and the overall potential this game has. i think the dev is doing a great job with this game, but this MC's personality is so inconsistent at times i guess it just frustrates me.

Damn it's sad to see this game with the abandoned tag, but the last time I saw a post from the dev he said that he would just work on this as a side project. Hopefully it's not really dead.

It's 4 months (ish) since they've given any sign of life.

If they were still around they could at the very least have let people know what was going on.

They were last on F95 October 5th, so yes, they are INDEED still around. They've already said they wouldn't say anything unless there was something to say.

To summarize:

• Will version 0.9 come out? Yes.

• When? I don’t know.

Right now, I’m not sure how (or if) I’ll monetize the game. But if there’s any news, I’ll post it here. All posts will be free and visible to everyone, though updates won’t be super frequent.

But that's not what was asked of me... I checked the last patreon, I checked their last f95 post. Both are from June.
I shouldn't have to stalk the devs profile to find out they've been logged in (and done nothing) a month ago.

So 4 months of nothing on their socials, and it's been a months since they last lurked. Updates won't be super frequent, or possibly existent at all. INDEED my shiny metal ass.

Well, if anyone missed it, boosty account got permanently banned. That means it can’t be recovered, and the game has completely lost its funding, since boosty was the only source of income. And you’ll never guess why it got banned. Cover your kids' eyes, here’s a direct quote from boosty support: Any pornographic content is prohibited. Oh man, he creates porno? That’s disgusting! They pointed out a few rules I apparently broke, including discrediting content. Like… what? Who the fuck did I discredit? Also, yeah, their rules do say that porn and even erotic content are not allowed. I guess many platforms do that just to stay in control of what’s on their site. But before I created the page, I actually contacted their support, showed them the game and some art, and they told me: Dude, it’s fine, go ahead. But now? They just shut me down and wouldn’t talk further. Okay.

As you might’ve noticed, there are no paid subscription tiers here (at least I hope I didn’t mess something up, let me know if I did), because I can’t withdraw money due to sanctions and SWIFT being blocked in my country. Monetizing the game has become pretty hard. Platforms like itch, Steam, etc., all use SWIFT.

Do you know how to read? If you did, you would see the developer's Patreon doesn't even have any paid tiers. You do know the dev isn't making or taking money from anyone, right?

What's all the fuss about? Just delete the game from your SSD/HDD... I really liked this game, but when an update finally comes out, you won't really remember the story anyway. So you'll just be starting over. My motto is simply: wait and see, time will tell.
