And with this I definitely know that I confused everyone, sorry. Okay so when coding new characters in Ace you got to go to tools and open up the database then go to actors. Actors are the characters. There are a list of numbers, each number for each character. Want a new character, find a blank number and name it. So later when making dialogue or making scenes or whatever you type some variation of n[insert number here]. Using Peter as an example, saw he's talking to Ms Taylor (who was given the proper name Trish already in the database). Want him to say Hey Ms Taylor you don't type in Ms Taylor you type Hey n[17] which is Ms Taylor's number, want him to say Trish then you gotta type in Trish. Going off Zakutsa's suggestion of naming Grandma Susie. Want Peter to call her Susie, you'll have to type in Susie, want him to say Grandma type in grandma's number. But when adding a new character you'll have to start the game over again or else it'll glitch out on you. What I am asking for is to come up with names for the two biggest suggestions of new characters so I can have them be set as actors ahead of time so you don't have to worry about starting the game over if they are ever really added in. Thing of it like taking precautions for the future. Just look at this picture and maybe it'll be easier to understand. I really have no better way of explaining this, I'm tired. it's nearly 3AM, if everyone is still confused then forget what I said. I already set them up with placeholder names till then.the mom has a name. but she's still mom. but i think it's kinda mean to not let grandma have a name. even if the main character doesn't use it. perhaps Sydney calls grandma by her real name when she vists
