Apart from the fact the Patreon was paused for the majority of the time delivery wasn't happening. Also saying nothing was happening is being disingenuous at best. You think Urban Demons got to where it is the moment by nothing happening for the years it's been active? I swear people have been warped by the lies and maliciousness that people have posted here. It's actually quite concerning how toxic some members of this community can be because some deadlines were missed for genuine reasons. It's almost like people forget it's actually human beings that make their favourite games.
People don't like to be told one thing and have another occur. They especially don't like it happening over and over. Other devs are able to put out content regularly or at least provide a decent excuse when they can't instead of months of silence. I've been watching the game since very early on, but it was quite clear as time progressed that your heart wasn't in it. You should have just been honest that you were giving up instead of continually offering false hope and broken promises. Now you can't do that and it upsets you. Well, as far as I'm concerned good.
Basing someone's ability on another's ability is completely ridiculous. Some devs are doing this as full time jobs, others are doing it with full teams behind them. You should stop making assumptions about people, you don't know me. "This heart wasn't in it" thing had very little to do with UD and very much to do with where I was mentally at the time. I've always said I will agree my communication for that time was not great and it could have been handled so much better. The only thing that upsets me is people pretending like they know a damn thing, when they obviously don't. Case and point.
Whatever method you can think of, it's unlikely to be realistic. I wouldn't be happy having to work on another game for the sake of updating UD. And there's no way I'd know which of the two games was more popular, which one people are pledging for and where I should focus my effort. And there's still no guarantee it wouldn't end up being blocked. I consider Subscribestar only temporary, eventually they will be forced to adhere to the same rules as patreon by payment providers, even if they don't have paypal.

Same thing happened with Nyphomania Priestess recently, some puritan went on a spam free till staff removed the game. This forum can suck dick a lot of times especially when users feel like they need to be catered to for every content.

Not really misguided When you really should treat people who supported you on Urban Demons with a lil more respect & courteously & I do know how projects work I been working on mine for some time now. I know art costs money so does encoding storylines & working with the tools on RPG Maker. Your patreon was also held up for months to a year before you became wild swing for whatever reason is none of my business to get into. Not all people are bad some like to mass report because they are trolls & they do not like to see progress. I'm just a fan of Urban Demon's Your work not attacking you in any way if my posts may seem like it. However, you should have really said yes UD is getting a final update instead of not working on UD in your reply to another person on patreon. I don't make a habit of going off on people but when I need to say something I say it despite the consequences & it does not matter if you agree with me or not I made my point & my peace & I will not be giving any more replies or posts on your UD page.
