you must not save on spots where the succubus/sentinels/guards whatever you wanna call them *patrol in front of you* otherwise you are gonna get softlocked in that same area and you will be forced to start a new game!
you gotta go to the very right side area and destroy the crystal in order to turn off those statues and move on =)

on the main entrance when you get 3 succubus/demons/guards. take the top right entrance and you will see a hall.
be careful there's a succubus/demon/guard hidden somewhere in the walls so its recommended to save before to move on forward!
after you do many attempts and know what path you need to take to walk over, just head up to and pick up the key.

Tagged as 'abandoned' but changelog says something about progressing to the end of the game?

Yeah, you could look at it as completed or abandoned, depending on what you wanted from the game. There are full routes for most of the characters, and a resolution for the main story as well. I don't know if Nergal planned to release anything other than a bugfix at this point. Most of his attention is on The Solarion Project now.
Personally, I managed to finish the game and enjoy it. I'm used to save-scumming, so didn't run into most of the bugs mentioned, except Kaylee's school visit stalling and a couple of image not found errors (but then I'd seen those scenes on previous playthroughs anyway). It's definitely still rough around the edges, but quite playable for the most part.
But with the project stalling in the middle, then modders taking over, then Nergal resuming development and retooling the game with more in-depth progression for each character, then the subsequent delays, there was a lot of expectation for much more content, and some folk feel shortchanged. It's true that the quality of art did fluctuate a bit (jumped up in quality for some of the 5-star scenes, then dropped again afterwards) but storywise, it works. Didn't pursue the mother or sister, so there may be some problems down those routes that I don't know about.

Theres alot of image errors in the current build, 2 or more girls I believe dont have dialogue in alot of scenes. Its very much a beta build. This games update history is long and filled with drama, lies, scandal and what not. As it stands now, you can play the main story to the end but odds are you are gonna hit a bug or multiple getting there so its not a "completed" game imo.
Was threesome between MC, sister and mom left out on the cutting board or still achievable? The background doesn't seem rendered...

If Nergal isn't working on this game anymore, what is he doing now? Has he vanished from the face of internet too, like those other developers as well?

the game have by default in the settings the autosave function.
there are know spots in the underworld where you must save before entering a room to perform a task, if you don't constantly save on these safe spots you will deal eventually with softlocks that will lead you to start ALLLLL WAY from the start.
the game its easy to progress as long as you check your cellphone and check on every single female in order to progress on the game with them.
finally know the game its abandoned and have BUGS that will not get fixed until the game dev decides to announce if he will continue on the game development of this or if will be FOREVER and ever abandoned.

Well, if I understand you right I can only save the game in the underworld on special points? Wow!
When I start a new game and used the cellphone there is a Memorycard, the savingplace. When I saved my game on a normal place, close the game and restart it I can not continued, because my saving exist not anymore. This is my problem.
I cant seem to start the game.It says "RPGVXAce RTP is required to run the game".I dont know what that means.Can someone help me please
