Is anyone else having this issue? Google tells me to update my graphics drivers or reinstall C++ Redistributable, which i did. Also did an sfc and tried to open regsvr32, but those didn't work either. Checked to see if it was all renpy games. Its not just Khan.

Had the same problem here, easy "fix" just roll back when she says "No, I don't think so"

The UCRT (Microsoft Universal C Runtime Library) is distributed via Windows Update ever since Windows 10. That's what that version number indicates (
10.0.22621.3593). That was released back in May (KB5037771). You might try either ensuring you have all updates installed or redownloading that specific KB package from the Microsoft website.

Hey so I took Domia and Alam in the good guy route, when Alam got preggo she disappeared. Is that normal?
It's been like that since at least 0.10 so it must be weirdly intentional by now...

Meaning, it is handled after 0.9.X?
So, is Alam supposed to disappear?
Because I'm on newest version, but loading my 0.10+ save where she was missing and that she still is missing.
edit: nevermind, after I finished conquering last fiefdom, and waited a couple weaks, she was magically in the castle again.

I just started playing and have conquered only 3 fiefs so far. It's pretty fun and interesting, but I do have a few complaints.
The amount of troops you can have is too little making it extremely tedious in the empire management. I don't mind having a small starting capacity, but we should be given buildings to enhance your maximum troop count. Currently, I'm just constantly juggling 10 troops between my 3 fiefs and keeping the others at 20 to maintain obedience. This isn't exactly fun to do while I save up enough gold to improve the infrastructure in my new conquest

You should be able to build up to 20 for 2 of them and 30 for your main one giving you 70 troops total.
You need to build up cash and build every building you can for each one before you go for more area.
