My review so far: It's one of those Ren'py made games where you are reading the story and occasionally making a decision of your character, the story itself is very interesting as you are playing a guy with name renfield who is a relative to someone from the book dracula where he finds out that his parents death wasn't an accident and he is related to something much bigger and evil he could only imagine to be more accurate to the vampires, i would say story is good enough to force the player continue in playing this game in which most ren'py games kinda fails as their relies on extremely sexy chicks or animated looped scenes.
Now i would like to say that most choices doesn't matter even it might change in the future because this game is still WIP you won't ruin anything by choosing a wrong choice because this game is for now straightforward, having choices which matters would make it much interesting to see the game going wrong way for your decisions, not to mentions that story itself is good enough to have a multi endings which i think we are going to have in a future. Game is very well rendered and writing is decent and your relationship with your friend sounds more realistic than when 2 guys are talking nicely to each other without using a single bad word like in some Ren'py games, I liked that shady looking woman Rebeka who seems to be the devil itself even your hot looking aunt who is definitely not a vampire i think author should make it less obvious.
If you are looking for a sex scenes you won't be disappointed there are in total 3 sex scenes and you can access them very fast even that i like sex scenes i think the author is giving too many of them too fast for example you get manage to have a sex with your neighbour twice between small events and you don't have to anything to get them i would more appreciate if player had to choice to avoid sex scenes or if some characters sex scenes weren't served on the silver plate to the player so he would have to do it by himself as a reward even this might be a personal complain i liked their gothic style but some women just looks too plastic expecially your neighbour who looks weird.
Vampyre dreams awakening is a good reading game so if you got pissed how the game Vampyr sucked ass i would recommend this game for your compensation let's hope the author won't screw it as this game looks good.
