You know, for a trial, I was expecting to at least try one battle.

This isn't really a proper Trial for Ragnarok. This is the pre-KickStarter mini-demo that they put out to showcase the story and the translation. Given that the KS is primarily about the story, it's not surprising that it lacks combat. Dunno if/when they'll make a proper demo. Though strictly speaking, if one wants to sample the combat, finding a demo for the original JP game works just as well tbh.

Their currently planned release date is November 2025, which is listed on the kick-starter. So far, there has been no mention of any changes to their planned dates.

I can't run either this or the original full version, it black screens either on start-up or on load or in other random places. If I set quality to low and low resolution it's more functional, but still borked. Lagoon and Savior run perfectly fine, and I bet they're too incompetent to rebuild this game in a newer version of Unity. It's probably the unlocked 13th gen CPU, it has issues with older Unity games.

At first, didn't think much of it but as project goes on.... Holy moly, didn't expect they put that much effort into Vidar.
They totally investing in her story, this is gonna a whole different game lol

They announced that the release date will be the 19th of December. On the one hand, yay, it's easy for me to get PTO in that period. On the other hand, boo, it might take a while until they get the game fully stable and whatnot, as every VB release until now needed 3-4 patches to iron out the big stuff, and then a few more to really work out all the (non-fun) kinks in the game.

Hopefully, the dates won't change any more than that, but we'll see.

Will play at 3rd patch to try some stuffs and stop playing until REAL stable patch release (probably after getting certain units).
Frontier final patch is 1.09

Understand the delay, but I hope it will be 2025, otherwise the merch will get trouble in delivery lol
