What would you like me to add to the game in the next update?

  • The connection (police) mechanic. This would be a new "currency" and a new batch of upgrades.

  • More events and the possiblity for the packmakers to add some in their packs.

  • The possbility to train the skills of the girls

  • Progress the story and add story missions (mostly focused on Nicole)

  • Something else (tell me either by PM or in this thread).

On the similar note, let me share a funny exploit (that prob was discovered already lol)
If you unlock the Investor that restores energy on the preferred finish, for your girls with Energetic trait he restores A LOT more than they spent, so much so you can select a semi-tired girl and she'll be full at the end of the shift. Couple that with the investor that makes all finishes preferred, and you get a restless cum-craving succubi in your booth

True, true, this investor is a must have !

Is there a way to increase the popping of a new client ? When your club is maxed out, sometimes I wait a bit too long for a new client

If you talking about restoring energy one - that's the thing, while it can be stupidly powerful, usually energy stops being a problem in mid game where you have a lot of bonuses for conserving/restoring energy already. It would be useful early on, but it's really hard to get going, and there are more useful early investors

LOL, that's a fun side aspect. I don't usually go down that road because I like to keep cycling the girls through and use all of the different ones I have. Usually six girls for three booths, with a few less leveled ones and a few that can do everything I've unlocked to that point.

Hmm, now I think I would like to mod that parameter. Sometimes in the very late game girls just have so much free energy it feels weird not to utilize it...
That's exactly what I was thinking! It caps at 3 minutes at 6 booths, but I feel like it's not nearly enough time to fully take advantage of the girls' potential, especially with longer shows with finishers.
Is it difficult to modify?

Abandoned, but not really how most other games on this site are "abandoned". The dev is looking for someone to take over the torch, even shared the codebase.

There was one promising fork some time back, not sure what happened:

I'm still working on a continuation of this little by little, when I have spare time and some inspiration. I think I'm close to releasing an update.

The codebase for this feels daunting to go through and is nonsensical at times, so I don't plan on trying out big gameplay changes - maybe more like small refinements.

I had a little time and added search to the Scutterhut DB, you'll find it at the top.

I also removed the ads at the top. It turns out you need a shit ton of visitors and/or really intrusive ads to make any money.

I was just looking at Scutterhut earlier today. I made a spreadsheet of all the listings there because it wasn't searchable before, and sometimes I check my spreadsheet against the live listings to update which packs are dead. I notice that a lot of the dead packs are no longer listed there at all. That makes sense, the only real benefit to having them there is knowing that there was a pack that you could ask other people to re-up. But just out of curiosity, are those listings being manually removed, or is it something Scutterhut does automatically?

Some girls cant be picked by "grab first girls" or "pick random girls". How i can fix that?
There's an excellent editor linked within the thread that allows you to do that, among many other things. I strongly recommend it for any and all pack adjustments. You can also choose who's part of the lotto that way.

Thats a great question that I cant remember the answer to off the top of my head. I'll take a look tomorrow and let you know.

I'm going through debugging my update and doing some test runs. Some things I've added/changed:

Included the latest version of Raivoasdf's mod (1.7).

In Disgruntler's provided source code, he added a disloyalty stat to the girls that didn't do anything, which IIRC he intended to use as a difficulty mechanic. I've used it in my own implementation:
- Disloyalty is essentially a happiness mechanic. A positive value is bad, and a negative value is good.
- A girl gains disloyalty if she doesn't work, if you don't have enough money to pay her full daily cost, or if she has negative money at the end of a day.
- A girl loses disloyalty if she works, is in class, has enough money to pay for her daily expenses, or if you interact with her through lessons.
- If a girl has 100% disloyalty at the end of the day, she'll leave the club (same as being fired).
- If a girl has enough loyalty to you, she'll take a reduced cut of her earnings (see below).

You'll also be able to give her money to reduce disloyalty. Conversely, if you are in need of money in a pinch, you can take money from her, which will increase her disloyalty.

I noticed that despite a comment in the code saying that a girl's earnings should be split between the girl and you, it doesn't actually do that - the amount of money she makes for you is copied into her personal account. She'll now take a cut, which probably makes the early game a little harder (at least you'll now have the option to take money from a girl to offset this).

Added a couple sort options in the planning screen, and you can now choose to sort in ascending/descending order.

You can now sort girls by how long it's been since they were last used.

I didn't like how later in the game the end of day report could be flooded by girl skill level messages making it hard to read, so I added an option to disable showing those messages.

Hope to have it out soon.

Ooh, I love that! I actually started keeping a spreadsheet for this kind of thing, but in-game is way better.

I don't think I'm too crazy about the disloyalty element though, because I don't want to be forced to use girls at any particular rate (I want to use the girlpacks I don't like as much less often). Will there be an option to turn disloyalty on or off according to player preference?

I can't see anything that is being automatically deleted.

The Disloyalty stat right now is more of an introduction or proof-of-concept. The stat gains/losses are small, and in the current course of natural gameplay, it is unlikely for Disloyalty to go too positive. That is, unless you take a large chunk of her money, in which case her disloyalty can increase drastically.

Speaking of the girl's money, as far as I know, her money is otherwise currently only used for taking classes and the new random chance energy gain mechanic. I'd like to explore more ideas around a girl using her money to do things.

Apart from that, this is just something I mess around with in my spare time. I would like to do this more regularly, but I have little experience in Unity and any drastic gameplay changes will probably take a long time as I figure out how everything in the project connects without accidentally blowing something up. If anyone else wants to expand on this version of the game, let me know and I'll provide the source code.

the game shows that she doesn't have any finishers even though all are true in the json file

and i can hear you asking your questions wich i've all already checked so,
yes i've saved the file
yes i've reloaded the game
yes i've even restarted my pc
yes i've cleared the C:\Users\{user}\AppData\LocalLow\Tobe_Disgruntler\Venus's Club_ Happy Hour folder, and then stared the game to see if it did anything
i've also removed the character folder, started the game, closed the game, placed the folder back, and it's still the same.
it's like the game isn't even looking at the file, it's loading from cache or something

it still doesn't work

Can't tell if I'm enjoying the new system or not. I like the opportunity to speed up the start by taking the starting money from the girls, but the regular payments to them slow you down much more.
While I'm still testing, I found a funny exploit - Brokers blackmailed me a girl with 33k savings. On turn 10! Not sure how that works but that's mine now lol

Just added this:

You can filter by packs added in the last month, 3m, 6m, 12, all time.

Its really crude how it collects stats (basically just a counter), so I cant, for example,tell you want are the most popular packs this week.

Would anyone actually like to know that?
