I love how people are doing these coding breakdowns, but as I said before, Sometimes it is just easier to start fresh than trying to sort out coding spaghetti. Either way everyone keep up the great work!

*As above reply appeared as I type. Why not use AI? Yes it is viewed as bad, but I strongly believe as a placeholder to just get things working it is invaluable.
I use AI to get aesthetics right, then when happy go to custom art to polish.

It's what I had to do in the massive gap of 1.97 to 1.98. This game started as a mod to Rubedo as I was tired of my corn fed farm girl with a gun getting her shit rocked by a drunk with 30k health. I used the blog of someone who made their own QSP game, a few posts by Kevin Smarts who works on Girl Life, and Rubedo itself to get a functional(?) system up and running.

The code is significantly better than it was in earlier versions and is slowly getting better as my own skills improve.

As for AI, I sometimes consult OpenAI and Bard for coding assistance but QSP is an odd engine to code in and they often flip-flops between knowing what Quest Soft Player is and not. It's more of a rubber duck coding so I can yell at it but it is not very useful.

Sorry I meant more for the AI Art placements and to handle intitial consistancy. Espcially with more pain in the butt elements like Male Kobalds. I hear a few fellow designers use a AI trained specificly for Hentia style porn and seen some great results. I will give one of them a poke and try finding out the model for you.

Main takeaway is that I changed the variable for nails. Use the cheat menu to fix your nails if you had some previously.

Hey Snekk, i think Serpream has a good point on the AI thingy. If you're having issues with finding Art pieces that fit precisely with the scene you're looking at, why not use AI generated images as placeholders? I've seen a lot AI generated porn and portraits and i gotta say, a lot of them are incredibly good looking, despite what people are saying about them. Sometimes they come off weird, but you can generate another one and you might get a good one, at least for a placeholder.

Also, how about getting some pieces that are close enough to what you're looking for for a scene, mark it as a placeholder and put it in a list here on the board as a "Looking for Art" spoiler tag for scenes that have placeholder pieces?

Like for example the goblins, kobolds an fairies. I might have some pieces lying around that i could post (i imagine a lot of the people following your project might have some pieces they could post as well lying around in their porn folders ; ) ), if you were to make a list detailing what should be in the piece exactly (who's the giver and receiver in the sex positions, is it a portrait of one character, what race is the giver and receiver, what race should be in the portrait, is the portrait supposed to have only one model, etc) it would make it easier for people that have pics featuring what you're looking for to seek out and send it to you.

I'm perfectly fine using AI art and have both accepted pieces people have made for me and tried my hand at making my own.

There is a female thief who is going to be the minor rival to the Thief class that is almost entirely AI generated, I just need to add her in.

Baird, the AI in the robot in the forest, is just Bard since I was using it for coding help. The other robot that crashes in the swamp, not in the game yet, is going to be named after NovelAI somehow.

As for art donations, I'm fine writing almost everything

I am mostly unfamiliar with mpreg so I'll have to do research on the subject, but I do plan to add anal pregnancies in as another mutation like Broodmother and Beastmaster.

As for other characters, not many are as...malleable as the player character is. Percy could work as they are technically human, but Bill would not be down for being pregnant. Meat, like most cowfolk, react poorly to magic and/or potions. Bornhorst will have an option to be male or female and they are magically tainted, so perhaps.

Is there no more content planed for the wolf pack as a male slave?
There is a distinct lack of female dogs in Avedon so once I get mutations working they'll slowly turn you into their breeding bitch/stress relief toy.

This sounds amazing and is what is missing. Games needs debuffs/punishments for events like this. People love Curruption of Champions, and yet everything seems optional in that. Also why I loved the idea behind the original Rubedo. Exploration should come with risk. Really hope once you get system running you let your ideas go wild :)

If you look back you'll find people really, really hate the drain curse despite it being a punishment for losing.

Being cursed as a futanari also got some flak despite the witch who sells you the potions very explicitly saying to not do that.

I also have upgraded zombies planned for monduval where they start biting off fingers, preventing you from using off hand and two handed equipment.

There's not going to be a lot of full bad ends due to the fact the player is functionally immortal but giving the player odd effects is perfectly fine.

If you, or anyone really, has any ideas about odd curses or bad effects let me know. I have a list but that list can be expanded.

That's...the clothing you get in the Sultanate. The catfolk there are odd and also assholes.

Idea wise I have been planning and prototyping a game in the way I want things. In short - Randomised (So it always feels different), a sense of the unknown, no game over endings, and longterm consequences.
BUT I am a sucker for forced changes. I would love to see something come from farm rivalry.
Like force changed into a submission bovine that flips the hierarchy of the barn with Meat and Bess afterall she does yell about it not concerning you unless you got a udder in one of the events.

The dude in the sewers that you can fight against and feed to his zombies or lose against and he gets murdered by a wendigo does not take kindly to dying and comes back to enact revenge.

Death and a few others mention that you leave a body when you die. He finds one.
Whelp, it looks like we made the first step on to selfcest. Takes a whole new meaning to the phrase "go fuck yourself".

The current mutation system I have working in my test build has you literally falling to the ground as your body horribly mutates from within.

At no point is it described as a pleasant experience. If you have multiple mutation points, say a goblin and a wolf mutation, then they fight one another for dominance inside of you in a mutually assured destruction.

I have also added being immobilized for having too large of tits and breasts swelling from lactation, which I may have to remove due to the fact that you can accidentally softlock yourself by being captured and getting pregnant too many times, making escape impossible as you continue to get pregnant.

Still working on a workaround for that.

Yeah, the bodies become enemies and the thing that you birth is much more aggressive than popping out a zombie baby.
