Twine also has different content and is a remake of QSP pretty much.

Example: QSP will dump you in the slums and you 'figure it out' while Twine start takes you to Dragon Isle and you go through a mini-tutorial-esque segment.

Cheats are trimmed back in Twine, but you can randomly get stat points through events and the arena can burn reputation for gems and stat points.

More 'discovery' for areas and additional expansion areas as well. Example: Twine has a 'wolf den' area in the forest you can find while QSP just has different areas you can visit visible. Areas marked for 'future rework' in QSP are also different in Twine. Its a pretty different game TBH.

Doing the tutorial in the QSP version and I can't find either Firebolt or a spellbook for it in the Footlocker. If I have enough Int then I can prepare Heal, but still no Firebolt.

Spells were very much a WIP for QSP I think. To get spells you need to find spell books. Those are picked up in events or dropped from enemies. You will never find items 'in footlockers' because every single container is just a thematic way to open your inventory.

To consume a spellbook you might need to get it translated for you by one of the 'magic' characters. Once its translated and explained to your character you actually have to use the book from a bed or rest point to study it and learn spells. Then you need to go into the inventory...again...and prepare the spell which is tied to your magic skill. You start with 1 spell slot (regardless of int which only drive mana) and gain spell slots when you get more skill. You could technically also boost your magic skill by using scrolls/pages that are dropped by mystical enemies, but I don't think that is coded yet as it didn't do anything for me. Also, as mentioned previously, QSP is now abandoned so...that's all there is.

I don't know if it has been mentioned yet, but when playing as female and trying to fuck the male version of the horny horse in the pussy leaves you locked due to errors.

Error: <<set>>: bad evaluation: Invalid left-hand side in assignment just appeared after the goblin cave.

I think the problem is I had good reputation and chose the parlay and surrender option with the goblins.

Parlay should offer sex as a bribe and not as surrender IMHO.

I tried the qsp version, while I did like it generally speaking I didn't really understand what was happening. Initial town under lockdown, lost to zombies, wake up in different town. Bit later lose again and wake up somewhere in forest and became fucktoy of a werewolf and seems got locked in an endless loop there with literally no option to ecape. Only wait and get his attention.

To me all those instances seem to be bugs ...How is twine version compared to that in terms of bugs and content?
Ah and btw chose elven mage as character but no spells or whatever ... you'd think that if you start as a mage you would have soway of utilizing said magic ..

The Twine version explains things much more from the outset, the QSP version didn't really explain much and it takes a while before stuff gets explained.

I liked old story more, all this bullshit about how powerful you are is kinda boring. But overall thank you, great game, great port. Wish you luck
Uh, that stuff was in the original, it just was only explained in a later quest that you're the fifth horseman.

Yeah, but here every character at the beginning tells you how cool you are and how you are they'res enemy and you get your own temple while you didn't do anything at all in this game

So I gave the death the book, and asked to learn the spell, but there is no death kiss anywhere to use.

While true, the QSP version is abandoned...sooo...won't get fixed till Twine catches up.
Ran into the same thing. So sad.

Well I just started playing this game (QSP version because I thought that had more content) and first impression is that it's very overwhelming. I'm here trying to figure out how to get my first weapon, and find some easy quests to do, and before I know it there's like 10 leads to follow that I have no idea where they are or how to get to them. I keep getting taken around by NPCs to random places I have no idea where it is in relation to my previous place, and I have to find my way back to my previous area to complete that quest, all the while picking up like 4 more leads to follow for other quests on the way back.
Oh and also the path I used to get to an area sometimes doesn't have a way back, so I get more lost in one way passages trying to find an alternative route backwards.

I think perhaps some content like moving to new areas, or quests for higher leveled and more established characters, or even quest significant locations without anything else to do there, should be gated until they're relevant, and keep focus on a more local level while the player is trying to figure out how to pick up a piece of wood.

Now I just figured out that spells are broken, meaning the main questline is broken, so I'm going to try the twine version.
