Just wondering: Does this game feature any lesbian content? WHen I come accross "Female Protagonist" and "Lesbian", then I assume, it does. Also, during the game, I get to make choices that increase / decrease my relationship status (according to the choice) but then the Statistics don't update. I can also make choices that indicate "Lesbianism +1". The only thing, that I didn't come accross so far: any lesbian action. Has anybody encountered any such content?

The re-tread isn't a re-tread anymore and the name isn't going to change and the guy's been working so, so, hard all this time and he's done all these new scenes........But he's got nothing to show us after what is it...9 months?

That's not necessarily the case. Perhaps the Devs tried to do something really ambitious, but in the end it just didn't work out and they couldn't deliver it in a workable form, forcing them to return to the earlier format?

Personally, I'm not sure why it was necessary to change the original format so radically, when most of the game was working ok? There was a clamour for some changes to the game, but not a complete re-imagining of it, that the Devs suddenly seemed to decide was necessary. But sometimes Devs make mistakes. And it looks like they made a really big one in this instance. Fair play for eventually owning up to it. Hopefully, not all their work over the last year has been wasted, and we don't have to wait too much longer for a further update?

this game has always had during its developing history, started 4 years ago, a lot of stop and go.
As far as I know having had direct contact in private with the developer ... it seems that since he announced the remastering he has been working twice as long ... but someone always found something wrong in his work ...
it seems clear to me that the new team had something in mind that conflicted with Groover's original vision ... in fact it was Groover himself who cut ties with those who only apparently wanted to “help” him create something better.
I saw directly in the May 2024 announcement something unnecessary and impossible to achieve.

I am very glad that Groover noticed some things that I saw clear in the violent and demented posts by his new collaborators/trolls that were driving away all the real fans of the 0.55 version that you can still download here in F95 today.
Maybe Groover noticed late because he+ was so busy working... on expansions that were derailing the perfect story of this game...
My personal assumption is...
Sometimes when you do something that for your collaborators is upgradeable you put more effort into the work because you trust on them promising you exact release dates of updates... but his trust was betrayed by these bastard trolls

He finally realized that the problem could only be solved by returning to take the reins of his own story...this story is GrooverGames'... and he decided well...no matter how long it will take for the new update-
I am very happy that Vic In Big City will be continued
It is provable that Groover needs a code expert collaborator (not sure) to put together the new version...I think these delays have always been caused by that...but better the old collaborator who is always busy and slow than using new collaborators who want to change derailing/trolling the story he wrote

umm when did it released? Anyone has any update on anything?? Hello Developer, what's the progress news after a month? I guess he gave some update on 15th Jan and after that nothing......Please dont spend your time working on weekly pics....spend that time on completing the udpate...even half hour of time spent on weekly pic is a waste when the progress is not going as per plan...that result in delayed update.

But now it seems, Groover Games has changed course, and reverted to what was essentially the original game, but with some ammendments. When that will eventually be released, who knows? Hopefully, sometime in the next few months?

She could be on a desert island and I'd still play.

I just wanted to give you a quick update on the progress of the next release. The work is still ongoing, but I truly hope this will be the last post before the update finally drops! I know it’s been taking longer than expected, and I really appreciate your patience. While I may not be able to include every feature that was originally planned, the most important part—the story—will be there. That has always been themain focus, and I think you’ll enjoy what’s coming. Beyond that, I'm getting excited about the future. While it took some time to implement, the new workflow has sped up development and laid the groundwork for future updates to come out more frequently.

I can’t thank you enough for your continued support and understanding. It truly means the world to me, and it’s what keeps me motivated to push forward. Just like you, I can’t wait for this update to finally be released.

Actually he is writing the right things, the game is basically in its infancy right now with no normal music, transitions, background sounds, etc. If he really spent these 11 months to create a platform for future updates that can optimize and reduce development time, then it is definitely the right decision and it was worth it. As for the new update I don't think it will disappoint, the previous 2 have been incredibly hot and judging by the preview this one will be no less hot, it's clear that Grover hasn't wasted his faith, he releases a bunch of incredibly cool and hot wallpapers every month to thank the people who have been supporting him all this time Victoria is definitely one of the hottest characters I know and I look forward to every update which I hope will come out more often now.
