Could you tell me specifically which ones you get caught by to make the elder do it? It's ALWAYS the son for me. No matter where.

I have tried Bees, stone giants and goblins in the forest.
Different types of skeletons in the snow.
Dragons and spider creatures in the lava.

All of these were done with save games where I haven't been captured.
They all result in the son rescuing her from the slave dealer. It's never the elder.

What I've been doing so far is simple:
1) Beat the intro on the home island.
2) Land on the Desert Island to the north and beat all objectives there.
3) Sail to another place and let myself lose

I did not lose a single time before then and she was not captured by anyone else at all before then.

Did you do it differently?

Edit: I also think the title should be changed to kegani laboratories instead of horsehair crab lab since that's what the other games by them were titled

Okay, then maybe it is time based after all? I'm pretty sure I got him when I lost later on in the game, maybe even right near the final locations.

Although I will also admit they seem to be distancing themselves and are trying new things which is good. (preview of a new game the dev is working on.

The shared version here is not the latest. This is version 1.60 which works only on AMD64 architecture.
Unavailable latest version 1.61 is compiled for standard 32-bit x86 architecture.
