Yep same Virus alert : Wacatac.H!ml / .B!ml
Can someone give more informations about it ?
Looks like it's a common case in Google so I don't really care about "no it's not a virus lol" can the tool owner do something about it ?

It even looks like it corrupts a file not in relation with the game but was in the same DL folder so it's pretty weird.

What I am trying to explain BaasB is that the Win32/Bladabindi!ml (which is what some tools trigger it as) is a trojan/backdoor which is, according to my findings, usually not a false positive. Every security specialist says this if you search.

What Malwarebytes write about this:

"Backdoor.Bladabindi is the detection for a family of backdoors that steal sensitive information from the affected system."

That means, whether or not you claim it, BaasB, there is a backdoor in the software in some way, otherwise the binary would not trigger a warning.
What's unclear is why there is a backdoor, and who put it there. Why would a game need to open a connection for the developer's server to access the player's system???

About this detection name, especially "!ml".

It actually stands for "! machine learning".

Any "specialist" article you find on the web, is actually a waste, copy and paste of same useless content.

For make you panic.
They need you to panic, so that you can trust the antivirus.

I can't be sure if the file is really a problem, unless a careful review is done.

Please don't let my opinion make anyone accept all programs, because if you can't tell and handle viruses properly, you should be careful.
This is a very chaotic area, where you have to choose between protection or freedom.

I'm having zero issues on my end playing the latest version?

I'm not sure why the topic had to get violent, but looks like any sort of topic can have a bloodbath within them in one way or another lmao
