From the site:
"out of pocket expenses for Episodes 3 and 4 of Violation Nation. We put almost everything we earn back into making our games better and faster"

The game is good so far but if you do not put some rpg elements in it you will run out of content too fast, i am not saying grinding or

hoarding but individual fights, group fights, gather resources, establish a perimeter or some sort of base, a vehicle might be nice,

also training, stats that actually do something, as we stand in the game it will take you one hour to finish everything, which is not a

bad thing if you plan on releasing content every week, also the people who attack you are dressed like they are in desert storm and

your party is dressed like they are going to the mall.

This is pretty much the summary of the game story so far. Cannot fault the game for putting the protagonist at the ass end of the food chain - a suit board member rendered soft and inadequate, his job getting him separated from normalised human relationships and his survival mechanism being his separation from arguabl the most important people in his life: daughter and her mother.

This is no G20, where, suddenly, a former war veteran suddenly shaves off her years of getting ouuta shape and off her training regime to become a beat them up super soldier - our protagonist is no girl boss - so we have the dripping down of enemies to make the stakes believable - fighting one on one with tools to ensure a somewhat believable win over untrained assailants.

But wait, this game introduces literal guerilla warmongers - to which MC is powerless, as any washed up overgrown veteran would be to actual fit young and still fighting soldiers - who are organised, have working weapons and aRE NOT afraid to gang up on MC and his companions.

These are the good points of this story and the sky is the limit to where this game can go, if it does not get bogged down in RNG or any type of sandbox.

Just like MacGyver or Texas Ranger or CSI or Star Trek series, every update could be a whole episode with different sets, different enemies, hot scenes with the girls and cliff hanger episode finishers to keep us entertained.

Just curious, what does onhold mean? does it mean its not officially aproved yet?
It means the developer has stopped working on it but promises to continue later. It prevents the game from being tagged "Abandoned," but the developer will need to update it periodically, much like this small update. It could be that a Moderator can remove the "hold," or not. I'm not sure.

As far as I know, the subscription payment is still onhold, so it's pretty hard to milk anyone. Beside that. If you had spend a little time reading this thread, you would have noticed that the dev team lost a number of members, which is the reason for the lack of progress and subscription payment being on hold.

I wouldn't hold your breath on the idea that facts are actually going to change the mind of someone who whines about a game like that. But, sincerely, good on you for being reasonable.
