Hate to say it but this one HAD potential but just never seemed to do anything... You'd think after years of dev time there would be a lot more lewd/erotic scenes with the characters etc but... just nothing... Like, there's many, MANY missed opportunities for a pervy/sexy little scenario or something, just anything really, but again, nothing happens.

I started to think it's because the dev is going for a slice of life type of thing but then... the game just skips ahead every chance it gets making these "days" feel like a minute or two in length with the bulk of what gets shown being them walking down a road, packing bags, sitting down, then every now and again some bandit etc shows up does... nothing much really... then back to walking, packing bags...

I really hope this one eventually picks up some day, because like I said, it HAD potential. It's a real shame.

I think you should read the game description in first post in this thread. The game is about a few people being put on an island to fight for their life for amusement of the general population. Like in the movie Total Recall.

Actually, the plot of Total Recall is a man who remembers he used to be a spy. The plot of Running Man is about people who are hunted in a contestant show.

I can't take credit for this game, or any other games. Although I have the skills to code a game like this, it would be without a single render, as my graphical skills are absolutely zero. My story telling skills are only slightly better.

no need, the files already have the patch. I Don't Know why the Ipatch is there when it's already in the game. also, there is no need for them to "update" the Ipatch. with the way the game is coded, you just need to copy it to the game and it will be the same regardless of whatever update. unless the dev just completely recodes it.

First off, this is cinema and television, so it is scripted, and we do know how scripted it is: money men decide who gets the more fringe, taboo or disturbing tags and who is just toyed with. The fact of the matter is, the person you want it to be in either of those situations might not end up in either of them, so any made up plot or reason for the contrarry is what is baffling, as the scripted and purposefully rigged reality of the show is obvious.

I found the story interesting enough, but you are correct in saying it's a slow burn if you want to choose the good path. I agree, there are other titles that have done similar. I don't care too much for most of them, either. I played both paths up to about episode 3 or 4, and mostly I disliked the way it felt arbitrary and contrived, depending on the type character you pursued. Just my opinion, of course.

The obvious reason Lara Croft, Ripley, and other heroines in apocalypse scenarios escape serious harm of any kind is the whole point of them being protagonists in a longer story than: meet hard knock life situation and cappitulate.
