select person you want to persist between loadings, select "Control & Physics 1", then click "Preset Locks Overview", then check "AppearancePresets"Short version:
Does anyone know of a way to keep a character appearance preset between (sub) scenes?

Doesnt look like her but ill take the boobs lol
its crazy she never did surgery on her face. I mean she obviously did not mind plastic surgery, how hard would it have been to at least fix the nose?Man, as someone who finds Sarah Jay to have one of if not the worst cases of butterface (and I started dealing with porn over 20 years ago), I gagged in my mouth a little at the thought of anyone trying to make a lookalike of her in VaM lol
For the most part, creators tend to make "lookalikes" pretty off-putting in their lack of accuracy but I don't know how you could make Jay without her looking like a literal horse.
On the other hand, because so many of the lookalike releases look nothing like the people they're supposed to be, maybe VR is the one world where a paper bag won't be handy?
I know that sounds real harsh, but too many good faps have been derailed by her fantastic body being interrupted by, you know, her face.
I also second this!Anyone subbed to this guy Niko3DX can share the new Evangeline look from him, please? Looks like a much better alternative to the one from the vector guy.
Thanks.
Perhaps you're looking in the 'open scenes' default directory from when you first open VAM. As you said they are looks. While most (all?) looks are made of .json files, many are not actually prepared as a dedicated scene. You have to open a scene (empty or otherwise, and open the look from within the control physics 1 menu of a person atom, replacing that person with the look. 'Open scene' shows you what's in the saves/scenes folder while 'open look' takes you to saves/person/appearance/. Also, remember when you open scenes from the main menu or tray menu (star icon) it flattens the scene directory (includes subdirectories contents); when you open scenes from within the tray menu (green folder) you have to select that option from the left. As a further tip, if you're not seeing an actual new scene showing up in your list when viewing new to old, try sorting using 'new to old packages.' Hope this helps.I downloaded a bunch (about 30 in one "pack") of looks (in var format) from this thread. However only about a handful of them show up in VaM. What could be causing this? Thanks in advance.
