Am i the only one who is having trouble with fps ?
No the Realtime Complexity on the Physic Side is extremely high and their are several boundaries to overcome the scope of this for 1 GUY alone was so massive the Unity Engine back then could never successful deliver it on Performance without a massive rewrite which was impossible.
It's Optimized for the maximum Character quality with 2 Chars on Screen more Chars you need a pretty decent machine as most of the highest Physic complexity is solved on the CPU Single Threaded.
The Engine efficiency for the Complexity Scope was never sufficient enough.
You shouldn't make the mistake to compare it with a normal Game a normal Game doesn't try to simulate collisions this complex in Realtime between Character (Cloth,Hair,Soft Body Physics) and Enviroment Interactions at the same time.
And ontop of that you have a Realtime Light Model and since VR you are bound to Single Pass Forward Rendering.
But for that we achieve a pretty decent Character Interaction and believable Space in Realtime based on Genesis 2, if you count all the issues/limits on the Curent Engine side it is pretty amazing how such a artificial Realtime Simulated character can feel when he tries to become human in front of you
Also heavy is how many pretty semi realistic Hair Styles we can simulate on the Face Head Perception now and how fast new fully simulated Strand based hairstyle results get created daily by now.

And using this also on other Artist Game Characters can be amazing, envisioning it in a new way just with the hair change
It really can showcase how powerful hair is in the perception of someone thousands of simulated complex wig results you can instantly decide for a new look it's amazing.
