Krosos could you do something useful and update crazy3d's kemono.

They created a new puppet account on hub yesterday with
with the announcement today on their failed core patron "upcoming models from new model maker". They spend more effort into these fake accounts that providing for their current user base. It's been flatlined for the last 2 weeks as they do absolutely nothing. Big deal, running existing textures through upscaler that anyone could do themselves. That puppet is them, ghost halo pixels around previews and fugly gradations that only ever appears on stuff they slop out. I don't know how you are one of the few people who still give him money, but if you could update his Kemono, that would be swell.

Not into people that want to bring themselves forward ;)
And only into a certain quality state and people who are able to produce stable results.
I invest 0 into Hentai, Kpop or other useless resources.

For example i generaly never invest into those that update the HUB stuff 5 times a day not able to reach a certain stability on the first go, they aren't useful

I do a lot of asset reviews (stability benchmarks) but i generally never disclose asset problems and see if the artist is at least able to find them in a certain time himself if he isn't, also not useful.

Most i invest in have the lowest patreon counts ;)

I generally not invest into clone creators, as well

Im pretty much doing what Tafi does in terms of reviewing their PA before releasing anything assets have to go throug a very strict stability evaluation process before i invest.

I just now fixed problems in these cum assets the artist just didn't care of

So I'm trying to play this game for 2 days now and figuring out what to do. Is this a full version? Because I'm getting some errors that i need to buy it on Patreon if I want to load a look. I've installed alot of .Var files in the add-ons folder (incl. VamX) but nothing seems to be working.

I updated VAM to the latest version. And downloaded 1.15 of VamX.
Installed as shown on:


The only thing I get is the screen where you can choose a few scenes. (Can't even load my downloaded looks) the creator mode is locked.
I just would like to play around with some assets, scenes, characters as shown in de VamX tutorial video's.


Help! I really wanna start with VAM!!

But overall one really great Asian Result

i would even really pinpoint her to be Korean

the traits are pretty damn detectable it's like you try to create a Western Char in Black Desert but have everywhere Korean (Asian) traits ;)

Wow what a fantastic tool/game. Thank you for the upkeep and the information everyone.

I have a rather strange issue going on. The hair in my game seems to be glitching out. no hair.png no hair.png

Now its not all the hair in the game. Most of the creator uploads seem to work but when i tweak them they all resort to this whispy render....

I run at 1920x1080 for the game but i have done it at 5120x2880 just to see if it works. (god the UI becomes unusuable)

Happy to answer any questions i can for more information.

I feel like VAM sort of killed most other VR titles and their development because it's still just leaps and bounds better than anything else offered. Only your willingness to learn, skill level, and imagination are the limits.
This thing has such obtuse dogshit UI it's almost unusable initiallly. There needs to be a basic "Click these five buttons to add characters, changes clothes, and load motions". Then you can add the "I have 30-40 hours to kill" button to expand into all of the sliders and other mess.

It's infinitely more powerful and versatile than everything else, but it's so tedious to use. This is closer to learning Blender or SFM than it is loading up a scene in FallenDoll which is about 5 clicks.

The #1 goal for 2.0 should be cleaning up this UI so it can do simple and basic things easily. Right now it's vastly too time consuming to do even the most basic things, with far too steep of a learning curve. There is no simple way to allow this much customization, but there can be a much simpler way to simply interact with it.

Everything is collision simulation enabled fully interactive except hair on table surface yet

Dynamic Pose Changes,Progression, Light presets will be Speech Recognition Controllable as well as Emotional states (On Set Director Mode) and yes Lick her Feet will be one option Cum/Spit in her Mouth as well ;)

Hey everyone, i hope im not being a pain. but i really need help with this. I have no idea whats going on and i want to do more with the program.
So, without much to go on, as you say it doesn't happen with every loaded hair, the first thing I would do is go to the active hair style, select customize and check what's going on under 'look' because it looks like the length, of whatever hairstyle that is, is being reduced and left on a high curl to make it short and wispy looking. As to the cause of it displaying with such settings, it might have to do with what scene you're loading the look and subsequent hair into. Perhaps it has a preset script that is affecting the hair presentation or collision which is glitching it out. It's best to try to find common denominators when these things happen. Is it the scene? Is it the look, the hair var? Is it hair only by a certain creator? Does it do the same thing on the particular look no matter what hair you select? Do the look, physics, and style settings seem appropriately matched for the desired selected hair result? Am I missing a dependency for the look or the scene? Does the hair reappear properly when I turn body collision off? Those are just some things to consider.

Someone recently asked some questions. (I refuse to reply directly because their username disturbs me):
It's not a game. It's more like a sandbox 3dmodeler/importer focused on bodies and their interactions.
Your question about space suggests you do not understand how to perform simple functions in your file explorer.
Anything downloaded from the Hub saves wherever your browser is currently set to save files at the time of download. If that's not your VAM addonpackages directory, then they won't show up in VAM. In the closed Mod asset thread there were people who explained how to redirect VAM to look to different directories or even external drives, but that doesn't seem to be a concern of yours at the moment.

VAM looks for certain file types only in certain specific folders within the VAM parent directory. Vars in the addonpackages folder, vacs in the saves/scene folder, look jsons in the saves/person/appearance folder, vam/vab/vaj/vap in their relevant clothing/hair/morph, etc under the custom/atom/person subfolders. So when you download files for VAM, you have to make sure to either save them where they go or move them to where they go. Also, your VAM folder will grow in size not just from adding files but also from VAM unpacking Vars (they are archived files, after all) in order to make use of the content and produce the scene or look or other content in the program. It makes future loading of those files faster once they're unpacked. However, should it ever seem to be taking too much space, you can always go to the main ui menu in VAM and clear cache; it will however require you to unpack any vars previously loaded again the next time used, reusing the space you just reclaimed. You can also go in and delete and scenes/looks/clothing/hair/ you've added along the way that you don't care for to regain space. People like to warn there's a steep learning curve to using this, and it seems you might be starting from a less than ideal computing beginning point (unless the misunderstanding is just a language communication barrier); you're gonna have to have some patience and study up if you want to get anything out of it.

No the Realtime Complexity on the Physic Side is extremely high and their are several boundaries to overcome the scope of this for 1 GUY alone was so massive the Unity Engine back then could never successful deliver it on Performance without a massive rewrite which was impossible.

It's Optimized for the maximum Character quality with 2 Chars on Screen more Chars you need a pretty decent machine as most of the highest Physic complexity is solved on the CPU Single Threaded.
The Engine efficiency for the Complexity Scope was never sufficient enough.

You shouldn't make the mistake to compare it with a normal Game a normal Game doesn't try to simulate collisions this complex in Realtime between Character (Cloth,Hair,Soft Body Physics) and Enviroment Interactions at the same time.
And ontop of that you have a Realtime Light Model and since VR you are bound to Single Pass Forward Rendering.

But for that we achieve a pretty decent Character Interaction and believable Space in Realtime based on Genesis 2, if you count all the issues/limits on the Curent Engine side it is pretty amazing how such a artificial Realtime Simulated character can feel when he tries to become human in front of you ;)

Also heavy is how many pretty semi realistic Hair Styles we can simulate on the Face Head Perception now and how fast new fully simulated Strand based hairstyle results get created daily by now.

So much Data on the Hair Face Perception jesus :)

And using this also on other Artist Game Characters can be amazing, envisioning it in a new way just with the hair change :)

It really can showcase how powerful hair is in the perception of someone thousands of simulated complex wig results you can instantly decide for a new look it's amazing.
Neither Pearl Abbys had such a powerful Realtime Hair Design System in Black Desert what we have here even in it's early state the amount of results we have by now showcase this.
All the Hair results are entirely in Engine Created this is Amazing and we see daily new results of layering and meshing up new hairstyles from different layer parts to entire 1 pieces and mixed results.
Either full simulated flying lose hair semi simulated boob hair (hairspray style few motion) the craziest color combinations.
And on top of that you can touch and interact with it to some never before seen degree ;)

Try some Futa scenes first they are not as heavy as they are missing the entire glute physic part which when animated is massive overhead, depending on the breast complexity it can get heavy as well but not as heavy as the bottom (fat simulation) part ;)

That's far too vague a question. In desktop mode? In VR? new problem or just starting out with VAM? A particular scene? Too many assets loaded? Have you tried redeyes 'givemefps' script as a session plugin? The short answer is, with proper settings and decent hardware, most of the scenes you'll download will run just fine and you'll never look at fps.

Yes I just started with VAM. But I think I found the problem. I tried to load several high quality looks. Had another session yesterday with a smaller room and other looks and I had no problems!
