I know we have many heroes sharing paywalled content, but how come no one here ever shares any of their own looks or scenes? You would think there would be at least somewhat of a community around swapping modded looks and scenes since we don't really care about licenses here anyway.

Well for one, there's not one clear spot to post looks without making an asset release. And I've been lurking here hard the past few months, and yet only realized just now this is supposed to be the "VAM discussion thread", so perhaps people other than me also don't know what thread is appropriate to post their looks.

Though FWIW, Having looks posted in a thread like this can get messy fast. Perhaps it would be effective to have a dedicated "indie release thread" so people can post their looks without them getting lost among conversation.

What do you all think?

I think having to make a post and following the template is stopping some people from posting their looks. To be honest it might be a good spam filter, stopping people from posting lazy works.

I dont know if there is any reason asset-releases doesnt already have a thread for people to dump their looks for a "quick" share, but i do feel it would be nice to have more unique looks being shared.

LOL you maybe right. It is like the wild west here on F95 at times. Still i have seen it on other websites, it CAN work, but i dont know if it would work here.

The previous thread was like that.
Everyone was posting content (mostly content from other creators, but not all the time).
The thread was closed because (I think) it was too difficult for the moderators to monitor and it was replaced by the Asset Releases (edit: this page is easier to use) section.

That's the plan I assume.
Also, building the var correctly with everything is nothing like just uploading an appearence preset.

I don't think VAM even knows the source of the vars, it just knows if you have a file called (creatorname).(packagename).(version).var in your addon directory, and if you scan for hub hosted dependencies then it obviously checks those file names against a directory of vars on the hub. I don't think it keeps track of where you actually got the files from. When it loads a dependency from a var it's basically just using directory references like a folder structure.

Although many will appreciate that you're willing to share some of your work, please don't share it within THIS thread. It's just the wrong place to do so.

As someone already mentioned, there was a VaM thread in the past where at one point people started sharing stuff, and it was a mess, so mods shut that thread down. We don't want this to happen again, right? So please, if you want to share stuff, let's figure out a better way to do so. Either create a *.VAR file from your work and share it in the Asset Releases section of this board, or create a new thread dedicated to sharing created looks/scenes/addons or something like this. But don't use this thread.

There are already some looks shared here exclusively. Just search for "f95 vam" or something like that.

Can anyone recommend some good dance scenes? I really like Reigns sexobeat scenes but are there others that are similar?
I have mmd plugin and a handful of motions that i like for it. i just want to know what's come out in the last 2 years because i haven't used vam since then. Not interested in ones where the girl simply bounces on dick to music.
