Do you need a subscription to run VAM? Or can I just get it from here and find .var's on k - site then run them without paying a dime. Is it possible to get the full VAM experience, including community created content, for free is what I'm wondering. Thanks in advance for any replies.
You don't need a subscription to it but for what it costs and the work that went into it you should consider making at least one creator payment to get the key legitimately. i know the keys are floating around here too but again. some creators deserve the support for their work.

Anyone happen to have GabiRX clothing collection?
Some of them appear to be a texture dependency on other creators' items, but GabiRX appears to have retired and cannot find any of their old content.

HELP: I run VAM on my PC and have a Quest 3, but no link cable. Is it possible for me to connect to VAM wirelessly with SteamVR? If so can someone share a guide with me?

I don't know if it can be done through SteamVR, but it can be used through wifi with Virtual Desktop. That's what I use for my Quest 2, and it works perfectly!

I just run Steam VR and run the steam link app on quest to connect through wifi, then I just start VAM and it goes into VR mode automatically. If it starts in desktop then go to steam, add a game in the bottom left, add a non-steam product, browse and select the .exe. The popup window should still be open, so go back to that and select add game, then find it in your library, go to settings > properties scroll all the way down and put "-vr" in the launch options, then try opening it in steam link again.

Hi all,

I recently decided to create and share a VAR file. (no, I am not advertising - I am a confused noob)
Can anyone tell me why VAM is listing dependencies that I never used?

Example: NoOC.Clothing_SailorLingerie - the LOOK is not using any of these.

The only clothes I added are vvvevevvv.CR_Sci-fi_suit.latest

NoOC.Clothing_SailorLingerie is a sub dependency of Damarmau.Jesse that is a sub dependency of KdollMASTA.K_Doll_Mk_5 that you use. The way VAM works it pops missing errors for any VAR that you have in your Addonpackages. Your look will work without those missing VARs but if you want those subdependencies errors gone you can either find VARs without dependencies, or add those assets in your VAR which I would avoid as you would commit the same crime and eventually someeone would use your VAR as a dependency. In your case the only thing you are pulling from KdollMASTA.K_Doll_Mk_5 is generic morphs so try finding the morph libraries that contain them.
Not everything is in a morph library as many morphs were initially posted as individual files and not in a VAR.

Dependency hell is a problem with VAR, as an example Wolverine333's VARs are usually used as morph sources and have many subdependencies.

So kinda like a matryoshka nesting doll effect o_O dependency inside dependency inside dependency.

Seems like optimizing your VAR's dependency is an art by itself.

Hi, hi! I'm trying to make two bodies copulating together realistic :) I'm struggling with body collisions. I'm trying to find a simple way to neutralize the collision of the bodies by just a few centimeters, so that they're closer/pinned/in contact with each other, for example, in missionary position. Any ideas? Thanks in advance, hoping I've been clear ;)

j'essaie de rendre réaliste deux corps qui copule ensemble :)
je bataille au niveau des collisions des corps , j'essaie de trouver un moyen simple de faire en sorte que la collision des corps soit neutraliser sur quelque centimètres seulement de manière a se qu'ils soient plus proches/plaqué/au contact l'un de l'autre pendant une position de missionnaire par exemple .
des idées ?
merci d'avance, en espérant avoir été clair sur l'explication ;)
