HELP: I run VAM on my PC and have a Quest 3, but no link cable. Is it possible for me to connect to VAM wirelessly with SteamVR? If so can someone share a guide with me?
I don't know if it can be done through SteamVR, but it can be used through wifi with Virtual Desktop. That's what I use for my Quest 2, and it works perfectly!HELP: I run VAM on my PC and have a Quest 3, but no link cable. Is it possible for me to connect to VAM wirelessly with SteamVR? I just run Steam VR and run the steam link app on quest to connect through wifi, then I just start VAM and it goes into VR mode automatically. If it starts in desktop then go to steam, add a game in the bottom left, add a non-steam product, browse and select the .exe. The popup window should still be open, so go back to that and select add game, then find it in your library, go to settings > properties scroll all the way down and put "-vr" in the launch options, then try opening it in steam link again. That would work fine! Any chance you have a link to a guide I could follow for this? Every guide I find says "tHeN yOu BuSt YoUr HaNdY dAnDy LiNk CaBlE"
So kinda like a matryoshka nesting doll effectNoOC.Clothing_SailorLingerie is a sub dependency of Damarmau.Jesse that is a sub dependency of KdollMASTA.K_Doll_Mk_5 that you use. The way VAM works it pops missing errors for any VAR that you have in your Addonpackages. Your look will work without those missing VARs but if you want those subdependencies errors gone you can either find VARs without dependencies, or add those assets in your VAR which I would avoid as you would commit the same crime and eventually someeone would use your VAR as a dependency. In your case the only thing you are pulling from KdollMASTA.K_Doll_Mk_5 is generic morphs so try finding the morph libraries that contain them.
Not everything is in a morph library as many morphs were initially posted as individual files and not in a VAR.
Dependency hell is a problem with VAR, as an example Wolverine333's VARs are usually used as morph sources and have many subdependencies.
First page under "keys" spoiler.Does anyone know what the code is
If you select the hip and go to 'Physics' you can change physics sliders there. Idk exactly how it works but those sliders will control how much the body part (the hip) will stick to the controller (the green square). It's like how elastic the link will be. You'll have to experiment but you'll get the body collision to be more your liking like that.Hi, hi! I'm trying to make two bodies copulating together realisticI'm struggling with body collisions. I'm trying to find a simple way to neutralize the collision of the bodies by just a few centimeters, so that they're closer/pinned/in contact with each other, for example, in missionary position. Any ideas? Thanks in advance, hoping I've been clear

I know this was super long ago. But I cannot figure out how to get the characters hair to save with this method. It seems like every character that you download is a scene in that ingame download section, and you cannot add them into scenes, Using this metod works, but they have no accessories or hair. There's no easy way to put it, because you might need different approaches:
- if the "downloaded" look comes with a scene itself, open it, press "U" to show the UI, press "E" to open the "Edit" mode, press "N" to select the character (you might need to do this multiple times if there are more than one character), then select "Control & Physics 1" and then "Save Look..." to save the look of the downloaded character.
View attachment 2810548- now open the scene in which you want to replace the character, again type "U" then "E" then "N" until you've selected the character you want to replace, and select "Control & Physics 1" --> "Load Look..." and load the saved look.

- if the downloaded look does NOT provide a scene, you might need to either:
- follow the second step described above (load a look preset onto a character) if the downloaded character just comes with a "Look preset"
- follow the second step described above, but instead of loading a "Look Preset" you might need to select "Appearance Presets" --> "Select Existing..." if the downloaded look comes with a "Appearance Preset"

Hope that helps.
