BrowserAssist VAR Management. Improve VAM performance by offloading or disabling VARs that are not required. BrowserAssist can still browse all content, even when the VAR is offloaded or disabled. VARs are dynamically and automatically re-enabled on demand when a resource load occurs from BrowserAssist.

Disabling .vars is good to improve load times and also performance and stability.

You can load EVERYTHING, even disabled .vars using the plugin.

The problem is when you try to load NOT using this plugin. Like using other plugins like sceneninja. Or even using the default interface (which makes no sense)
How does BrowserAssist var management compare to var browser? Haven't had any issues with var browser, but if BrowserAssist essentially has the same features built in, it makes sense to rely on that instead since i use BrowserAssist anyways.

Does anyone have an alternative source for this file link?

( )
Anonfiles has been down for around 2 years and I'd really like to access the model in this rar file.
Make a request in Asset Requests and I will upload it. I know it's a bit annoying but doing it there and uploading it there will reach more people. And there is a chance that someone that is doing Asset Releases will archive it.
Don't forget the VAM tag.

Not sure if this is the right thread, but does anyone know why the "Hide" option in my jayjaywon var browser is grayed out? Thanks in advance.

you need to go to the "Vam\Saves\PluginData\JayJayWon\BrowserAssist" folder and use the createBAsymlinks. its a windows batch file that you need to run to link up your folders with Browser Assist. If youve already done this, it may be bugged in which case you need to use the removebasymlinks program and follow its instructions. it will prolly tell you to go to the symlinks folder and delete everything inside and then use the create symlinks program.

Guys i need some advice. So i have about 700 gb of vars that i use through browser assist with everything offloaded and everything runs perfectly fine and quite quickly but i was running out of storage on my drive and decided to investigate and found that the cache is taking up like 750 gb of space. My question is, is it ok for me to delete the cache and turn off the cache option in vam? and if i do so how will and how much will it affect my experience? will it be drastically slower? i do use BA offload so everything is pretty quick to begin with and also will it conflict with me using BA? or is there no problem with not using the cache and deleting it? Thanks

I leave mine on but on a different hard drive, I also clean it up regularly, you can try using it with off and see if the load times bother you, if it does then re-enable and remember to clear it up sporadically.

I'm trying to find a scene that I had before having to reinstall but cant remember the name/author and im not having any luck searching on the hub for it (so it might be a scene I got from here thats not on the hub anymore).

It was in a studio apartment at night with some music playing and leonardo decaprio raising a glass on the tv, it was like 6 scenes. Started with the girl (latina maybe? and I think a blue sweater) with a big ass twerking on the bed, then riding a dildo on a small table next to the bed, then getting dildo'd by a guy, then a blowjob where she's on her stomach on the bed with the guy fucking her face, then a doggy on the desk scene, and a missionary on the desk scene.

If anyone has any idea what I'm talking about, any help would be appreciated lol

Leave caching on and just delete the Textures folder in the cache when it gets too big. The first-time loading of each character after that will let you see how long it takes without caching (usually 1-3 seconds per texture, with each character being a handful of textures). As you load new characters it'll gradually rebuild the cache, then you just delete the textures folder when its too big again. 700gb sounds like you've been using this for years.

Is there a way to stop slightly larger breasts from clipping into each-other in scenes? I already have the physics collision toggled but it doesn't really help.

Did Yesterday's Steam VR update break this for anyone else using virtual desktop and a quest 3 headset. I had everything set up have my controllers emulating index controllers to get hand tracking to work, and this all worked for months until yesterday. Now not jist in VAM, but in any steam VR game, both sticks no longer register inputs and both left face buttons (x,y) no longer works. Triggers and grip buttons work on both and (a,b) works on the right controller. I go out of steam vr and Virtual Desktop works fine, I can navigate my PC and everything works. I play something standalone quest, same thing, all is normal. Anyone else experience this, and if so, have you found a fix?

Does anyone know if there's a tool to remove texture from vars?
I usually don't download some scenes because creators add crap into it, like add an ugly female with 8k textures as base and that's the first thing I ever replace when playing it
