Ok, it's happened to me enough times now that I believe it's a bug and not just me going crazy.. Has anyone else experienced the physics suddenly just being slightly off or broken? Like the physics engine is running but things aren't moving like you're used to. I notice it most in breast physics aka: Why aren't my favorite titties squeezing right

I've fixed it before by removing recently added vars but that's not working this time.. Also I don't really get how a var can corrupt something so internal like the physics engine
Answer I got from vam hub in case anyone else searches here first

Does anyone know any plugins that make oral easier to animate? I'm a bit lost on how to go about it.
Use Timeline to record your morphs, its very quick to record and you can save the animation and reuse it again later.
Much better than expression randomizers or any auto face expression plugins

Welcome to the club lol i normally just download peoples stuff and replace models with others XD
Lol I've been doing that but it would be better if there was animation plugin which will pose them more easily.

Is there an video guide for it? I tried using it but messed up

Does anyone know how to fix the mouth of a female atom deforming and presumably glitching out during animation? This is in reference to the timeline tool.

Torrent stalled, no peers. Trying direct download.

Is the updater only required for Windows 7? I have Windows 11 here.

VaM_Updater.exe can fully install VaM in whatever folder its in. If you have that no need to download the application files from anywhere else.

Is there a video guide for this game? I don't understand how to animate and pose them
If you want my honest opinion, Posing is far easier in VR, as you can move them around like mannequins. As for animating, i use AcidBubbles' Timeline Plugin. Hope i helped :)

Go into the addons folder and list the files by "Date Modified" order. As long as you just downloaded those files they should be the newest files and so you should be able to delete them. Otherwise get this:
You will have to favorite the scenes/looks/plugins/etc you want to keep in VAM, but then that "Unreferenced var mover" should show you everything else that isn't being used making it easier to delete.

Links are getting lost!
I keep losing the links to the Atoms. Screenshot 2025-10-18 131311.png
Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?

Comment: Generally, whenever I download VARs manually outside the VAM Hub, I usually put them in their own separate folders inside the Addons folder. Often, I put them in separate folders, named by the year and numbers. For example, I got "2025new1", "2025new2", et cetera. Usually I start a new folder whenever the files start to fill up the window (roughly about 40 or so) because I personally detest excessive scrolling. :p

Occasionally, I will do mass moving of all VARs downloaded directly from VAM Hub inside the program into their own separate folders, too. I just name them generically like "zTemp01" (I use "z" suffix to force them down the bottom of the list when sorting files and folders by A-Z in Addons folder). Mainly because I can't be bothered to make folders by authors. lol

Anyway, I don't know if this will help, but maybe it's something to think about.

Hello guys! Please help if this is relevant. Is there a plugin or method to make scenes and objects load faster without hiding pages with clothing, morphs, etc.? I have the BrowserAssist plugin, but it's really difficult for me. I can't get it to work properly. Even after following the instructions, some scenes disappeared, and some pages with clothing and morphs disappeared. So, I need a simple way to prevent everything from disappearing and make scenes and objects load a little faster. My VAM folder already weighs over 500 GB.

UPD: I'd be happy to discuss this in a private chat. If it's not too much trouble, please help me out. Write me step-by-step instructions on where and what to click. Especially since English isn't my native language, which makes it even more difficult. The translator doesn't always translate correctly.

BrowserAssist "var management" can't make miracles even/specially if you were choosing, with BrowserAssist, to temporary apply some "ruleset". Maybe that's why you see items, scenes etc. "disappear"... but you can always solve the problem you mentioned with applying "All Enabled"

The most simple and efficient solution to general vam-load-time problem is to keep your vars folder (more or less) around 100/150GB. Maybe it looks too much minimal, but if you do so, even with a modest desktop pc you will have a good fun and practically no issues.
The bastard, banal "secret" to get never time_load issues, besides trying to use (like you did) those very "opinables" browser-assist "rulesets" options is to delete always those trashable-vars you are 100% sure you will never use (because you do not like/need them). The alternative can be to save a list with all those poor trash-vars in personal dedicated (trash)folders, if really you feel so badly nostalgic and you hate deleting them forever.

p.s.: I am sorry if I was unintentionally upsetting prolific "talented" creators, my main installed Vam is actually "just" 130GB (ok, that's also because, for my personal motivations, I moved away the heavy vam-cache directory in a different nvme disk...)... so yes, only (?!) 130GB, not only... I think I was lazy for having still not deleted a lot of vars I probably will never use again after testing them, but that's only because I am also a little conservative about vam-garbaging.

Sorry, but I still don't understand what I should do. More precisely, I understood it this way: the AddonPackages folder should weigh no more than 150 GB, but mine is 545 GB and I can't reduce it. I can't delete all these files; I need them. If I enable (or click) All Enabled, will nothing disappear, and will scenes in VAM still load faster than without the plugin? I can't see the screenshot (I'm having a technical issue), so it would be easier if you could give me step-by-step instructions on where to click and what to do. Is the BrowserAssist plugin really the only thing that can help me, or is there something else I can use to keep everything in place and make the scenes load faster? Let me remind you that I can't make the AddonPackages folder smaller than 150 GB, and I can't delete all these .VAR files. Because I need them anyway.

UPD: I need full instructions, step-by-step, on what to do. I have the plugin, but it's not yet installed in the session. And I know that simply adding it to the session isn't enough; I also need to activate the .bat file. But maybe there's an alternative to this plugin

how does clothing work in terms of different character sizes, i notice that clothes work perfectly fine for default characters but some clothes wont cover the whole body if for example, the breasts are too big. Is there a way to modify this through a plugin because the physics tab does not really do the job with sim enabled

Sorry if mainly I was not enough clear:

You absolutely "MUST" not delete anything in your 545GB vars folder if you think, for a lot of always valid motivations, that you can't or if you want not !!!!

JayJayWon has widely argumented discussion pages and a very simple and clear tutorial/read-me in it's plugin page on vam-hub, with everything regularly updated since the year 2022 (in perfect english, step by step).

More in the specific of your question:

to play Vam without BrowserAssist would mean to loose the ever created real best and easy optional alternative to the original standard vam interface (with a lot of useful very important new functions, so a lot of them that I don't even try to list all of them).
My banal opinion about trying to make vam "faster loading" using it's recent so called "BrowserAssist var management", option that I use mostly and only for fast checking my eventual duplicates, it's simply and nothing more than my banal personal opinion.
Yes, even fun-time is always precious, so I was trying (probably like all more or less advanced vam users) every new methods, every "miracle" script, cpu threads-patches included... without getting any improvement besides wasting time for nothing.
With my modest desktop pc, till today, the best optimal vam performance-solution remains always to keep my operative var list the most garbage-clean and the most "essential" that I can (always considering just and only my banal bastard practical experience).

English is evidently also not my language:
maybe if you can write wich is your (language), then you will get faster more useful answers than mine. F95 is besides discord or vam-hub, a great generous community for any kind of help, assistance by private messaging included.
