It worked as per the instructions, I set the graphics to extreme in the launcher but some text seems kind of oddly aliased in the play menu (Non-VR version) with 1280x720 resolution so may test the other options.

For everyone having trouble starting the game, I think I found a temp fix. Go to the folder the game is installed in and take the folder called plugins out and then click on the exe, this will open up the configuration screen. Replace the plugins folder before actually clicking play and it should work.

And here I was about to just upload the actual installer from dlsite(instead of the repacking I did of each version to make it where you woun't have to install both versions like they have it) thinking it was an install fuckup.

Okay, removing and replacing that plugin .dll does enable the game to start. Problem now is, all I see if a transparent blur in the shape of a person, I assume.

Can confirm that it helps too.
About perfomance, just disabling all effects boosts fps by a lot, and it still look alright. (i would even say better, w/o blur)
