i really liked the update before this one - the stranger groping her was amazing. not sure i like the cuck part of this update. he likes to see his wife with others - he doesn't want to lose her. i'm not sensing cuck fantasies as opposed to hotwife fantasies. I just think it might have been better to go down other routes.

Yes 0.5 is controversial to say the least. With sycophants writing essays defending it. That said, 0.6 is poised to be much more agreeable to everyone since it'll be a beach update with more of her public beauty rather than private stealing.

Very much agree that people don't like Geist because of his hostility but that's really understandable until dev makes him respect their wish and understand their kinks. But don't you think referring that mild fingering scene as any form of "stealing" sound too much like a joke given the game is clearly stating the wife will never be stolen?

I was expecting people to say slow build-up rather than screaming "omg NTR". Having MC to pitch against him was nicely done not like he is accepting everything shit that Geist threw at him.

Yeah, it wasn't "stealing" at all, if anything Geist was the one who got humiliated. Even after the stuff he did with her, she was thinking about the MC and calling his name at the end (on non-cuck path anyways). People on this forum are just weirdos with weird complexes, moral compasses, or hypocrisies, and I just tend to ignore them most of the time.

Anyways, I played 0.4 and 0.5 together since I waited for 0.5 before playing 0.4. Both were really really good.

I liked the update too. I chose the more hardcore humiliation option and I'm looking forward to seeing how that plays out.

I mean people can definitely dislike Geist with how he acts in the update but it's not hard to see dev put him down after the speech at the end. The point of this writing was putting Geist into someone who has zero understanding in the wife-sharing kink and yes he's obviously dumb duh. And don't forget he had no positive feelings at all toward MC because MC is the reason the mafia princess has the run away from the family. His hostility came from his absolute loyalty towards her, just how on earth do people think he has the balls to "steal" who he serves.

Especially because of that i really like that the MC stands his ground and goes head on Geist. We don't play (atleast for now) a wimp, who is super beta and 'scared' once someone bigger/stronger shows up, but someone who set boundaries and fight for himself and his wife... (which is IMHO most likely the most healthy way to have a NTS relationship, when you set rules and boundaries and being firm about it) which i honestly really like.

Am I playing the same game as you guys? What you call standing up for himself I call having a spergout at the end, he certainly didn't come off as empowered. Just look at the emote image attributes without even playing - with no additional dialogue context there's no way he'd be mistaken for a Chad of a character...

Building on this, unlike many here I don't necessarily think mr ghost is the problem, he comes off as a jerk, sure, but it's amplified by the mc acting like a wet noodle.

The way I'd EXPECT him to act when confronted with a personality like mr ghost is immediately lay down boundaries, instead we get a lot of this look during the meetup:

However, I wouldn't call it an ntr game like some dissenters have. To me it's just an ntrs game with a wet noodle of an mc, something I personally dislike.
The point of NTRS is that the husband is an actual presence, and not just someone overshadowed by "The Alpha"
Also the Man-Bun is so silly :ROFLMAO:
I'm still too hung up on the name to think about the bun. "Hi Geist...." sounds like some contestant on that old vh1 show 'the pickup artist'. "Hi I'm Mystery.".... "Hi I'm Blade...." "Lazer"..."Blazer"...

That's why the author should've actually used that other design of his for mc...

a wet noodle.
I think it was reasonable to be a wet noodle. This isn't a battle hardened cuck/stag/whatever it's a dude still taking his first steps in this, and he was having severe cold feet about the whole thing. That's the kind of attitude you'd expect from a man used to dogging or something of the sort, not a guy trying this for the first time.

All three of them were amateurs at this, I felt it was fine. Besides, find me consistent examples of NTRase MC's belittling the "chad" archetype characters.

He's exactly that wet noodle in Amelia's presence, you might prefer it if dev moved the speech right after Geist made his threats and not after everything is done. When Geist threaten to ruin his marriage he wanted get back to him but once Amelia shows up he immediately shrunk down and changed topic, up until Amelia went back to the room. So... there you go,I have no comments on why he has to be that passive everytime whenever in her presence.

The dom/sub stats only matter a little to the dialogue variations rather than being different routes. Just imagine the dom route having MC puts Geist right in his place when he talk shit and having Amelia clueless to their exchange instead of having her to show up and interrupt them. And the current of what we had fit into the sub route .

I'd certainly agree to the latter idea - if one had me imagine the current game as the default "sub route" game, it'd make a lot more sense. For the original speech it's not the placement/pacing of it so much as the overall tone- there's no reason to get all mealy mouthed once geist speaks bluntly.
I just like the idea that I'm slowly crushing the MC, stripping him of his boundaries and self respect, all while his wife comes to love owning him, and she slowly ends up seeing him as more of a lapdog than a man.
For me that kind of doormat MC isn't fun to either play as or witness as a third person. A common retort on these kinds of threads is 'just stop self inserting bro!' - I don't want to read a story from the third person about a sad sack and his sad life - that's no slight on you or anyone who would enjoy such a story; one could prefer the proverbial classic comedy or classic tragedy.

Except the final scene wasn't at odds with his early personality. A nerdrage moment isn't at all inconsistent with the personality of the passive loser. What WOULD have been jarring (and I would have loved) is if he snapped out of his shell for a moment as was like "Look Geist, you're here because we want you to be here. You feel like a stuntcock because you are a stuntcock."

His personality can't just be chalked up to inexperience - I found some of his alone time interactions with Amel (totally unrelated to anything sexual or wife sharing) to be super cringey. This is not a cooldude. "Expansion porn"? really? If anyone heard that IRL they'd be like gtfo of here nerd... He doesn't need to be mr suave; but don't try and convince me he's some average joe.

I'm not going to go too in-depth on this, cause whenever I go on full on rants I tend to go overboard. So I'll just say this much...

I agree the MC could be better, definitely not one of my favorite NTS MC's, but definitely not one of the worst I've seen either.
I've seen ACTUAL 'doormat' MC's, and the MC in this game isn't comparable to those MC's at all. (At least on the route that isn't focused on submissiveness/humiliation)

It's still early days, and the Geist guy is part of a crime family, not just any crime family, but a crime family related to his (MC's) very own wife. If he says the wrong thing to Geist, it could end up backfiring for him badly, the dude likely wasn't kidding when he said he could kill the MC and make him disappear without a trace. I agree that the MC needs to better establish boundaries, but I disagree that the ending made him look weak or like a doormat, considering the circumstances. I think it was a good start, and hopefully next update there will be clear boundaries established, and overtime on the "dom/assertive" path, we will see the MC continue to become more confident and also a heightened self-esteem.

This game's MC, and also the setup for the NTS, have been much better than a lot of NTS games I've come across. It ain't perfect, and the MC could be better, but at this point the bar feels pretty low for NTS games and I quite enjoy this one. Relative to most of the NTS shit that comes out, it's pretty damn good.

Unfortunately, there seems to be a misunderstanding between the author of this game and its audience. I understand the author's desire to maintain tension and evoke a range of emotions as we interact with the story. However, in my opinion, the author has made a mistake. The action unfolds too quickly and in too "wild" a style.

I don't mean that the main protagonist and his wife should have a five-hour segment assuring each other of their fidelity and love, interspersed with flashbacks about how they met.

The game advertises itself as netorase, where a partner, with the consent and knowledge of their significant other, has sex with someone else. However, we have a situation where the main protagonist's wife spends the night reading about cuckolding and then decides, seemingly at random, by trial and error, what and in what quantities she will give her husband in this matter. This happens without a mature discussion about what they both want and agree on.

Some may prefer this "wild", more spontaneous style, but I believe the audience looking for netorase would expect a more "civilized" approach. Communicating with glances and half-words might be more exciting, but personally, I wouldn't risk my marriage and love on the hope that everyone will perfectly understand what the other person means in the moment.

It seems we have an arc where Geist becomes our best friend, despite his threats to kill us after his ego was damaged because our wife did not look at him 100% of the time when he fingered her. Maybe if this were a netorare story, this character would fit better. But in netorase, this approach feels out of place for the audience, or at least for the part I belong to.

I hope the next update takes a different direction from 0.05. While it’s not a perfect visual novel, it has the potential to be at the top. And I, along with many others, can't wait to see this potential.
