That's a faulty argument, just because there's a ton of dishes to eat from doesn't mean you're gonna like them all, or that you haven't eaten that already.
You can make the argument, however, that good dishes do require more time to prepare.
Staying at eating analogies, i'd say the point of casey over there was that a person isn't craving a certain dish as much when he's full already.
Sure, if you have the option, you'd go for that one dish all the time.
But since we don't, going for something else is a pretty good strategy, since you'll most likely find something you'll enjoy.
Even if it still doesn't come close to that one thing.

You know, I wonder who Asuka’s father is? Either this is a school coach or the father of MC.
Helen is not with anyone, is she? that would be some plot twist if Asuka father was the MC father but it's probably some random off screen guy that Helen was perhaps seeing and he is no longer in the picture.

Given the high quality of practically everything in the game you can feel a certain amount of care and commitment to good work from the devs, which would make all those accusations of scamming and lazyness very hilarious.

I for myself think of Assassin's Creed in those times: It started amazing, then Ubisoft wanted one game per year, which was to much and the next ones became rushed and glitchy. They noticed, set it to one game each two years and they became good again. You can have it fast and bad or slow and good.

this guy would have so much fucking money if he had a 1$ tier, lots of these people making 50,000 a month, 30,000 is usually from 1$ donators; such a shame this guy makes almost nothing because his tiers are so jumpy

I know the intention was somewhat jokingly, but this is for everyone who took it seriously:

The math checks out, but the numbers aren't accurate, and therefore the solution isn't accurate.
- Since the %-values Irphaeus delievered are rough estimates, the progression is also just a rough estimate, which is the basis for okapaa's calculations.
- the calculation also did not account for outside influences, which in our case are for example christmas, family, and so on. I expect the progression to speed up in the next weeks.
- most importantly: due to reading Irphaeus' progress reports somewhat conssistently, i find it obvious that he often tweaks or adds things on his to do list for the update. Therefore it could very well be the 65% from the old to do list and 75 from the new to do list. And since they probably are somewhat different, it's difficult to compare the two values.

that said, i still find the somewhat sarcastic math a better commentary than the usual "where is update", "dev is scamming us", "patreon is bad since all devs there are lazy" comments.

Cheers, and enjoy the holidays.
Did you used to get your lunch money stolen??? .......just asking

Motoko, Takamura and Kayane.
8 girls are being featured in the next update, check the sneak peek on Patreon.
The three you mention are included, but as well as: Isabella, Elizabeth, the other girl from the art class (forgot her name), and two more (several pages back where some suggestions who those might be).

I know but those are the three that are getting the most in the next update

Developer Discord Spoilers: Sheila will not have content in the upcoming update, but will focus on Kayana Takamura and Motoko.

He asked for the featured girls.
"Most" doesn't essentially mean featured, but in this case we don't know whether he asked for most or any content because featured could mean both, so it's better to go with the latter, like how Irphaeus used the word in his sneak peak.
The update with most sexy content yet! (8 girls featured)

Those three will play some important parts of the story it makes sense that the focus will be on them in this update. Motoko and Kayane especially sure other girls will feature but right now it needs to be more about them.

I love this game, but we are seriously living in a world where he did two updates in an entire year, it's not like he doesn't pretend he's making better progress than that either, in October he implied the next update would be November/December. Now people are legitimately talking March, which would set up another 2 update year at that pace.

We also live in a world where a developer, despite having released nothing in more than a year still perceives about 9k per month, and then was able to instead put out a small "Christmas Special" in less than a week with roughly the same amount of content a regular update for other games has.

I'm not aware of the update release dates but I can't bother to search for them right now, regardless, he said he would like to release the next update by the end of the year, I said he learned from his experiences and is refraining from putting out a fixed date to have some room to breathe and whatnot.

People legitimately talking about the stated percentages and using that as a sure metric can't be taken that seriously, as:
  • A) We don't know how much the content planned for the update is.
  • B) Some parts of development are faster to do than others.
  • C) Dev's percentages are ultimately a rough estimate.
If a dev says he is at 75%, there's no way for you to know what that means at all. it could be that all the images are done and all the rest is missing, or perhaps just the coding part is missing, or perhaps that he is just waiting on player tests to finish.
It could also mean that all is done but the images, so who knows.

Those percentages, they're like a loading or progress bar, it's an estimate, and some parts of that bar will fill faster than others, but quite often those things fill that last % quite fast, unless you are Gumdrop Games, in which case, it'll be absurdly slow.

Sadly, the best you can do right now is just wait for it.

We also live in a world with you getting free stuff and you're still mad and talking shit about the one who gives it to you for free.
Because it's not enough. Because it's not fast enough.

Lower your fucking expectations a few, man.
It's free, it's good, it still gets updates.

As far as I know he never insulted or disrespected the dev anywhere in that comment. Harsh statements are not rude statements.
