No mention that this has to be done to the MC, and it stands to reason, for a lot of people play these for the fantasy of having someone else's wife, cheat on their husband with the character they are 'playing as', so yes, the tag is very well deserved.

Is not clear if it's meant to cause jealousy in the MC or the Player, but most NTR works focus on the Player (cuz what's the point of messing with the MC when you don't care about him).
And please note, it only says involved, this could go from a simple kiss behind the MC's back to full-blown orgies at the expense of the MC, because NTR has always been about the relationship itself, not the sexuality of it.
So for some, in a game where the fantasy you're been sold is that every single girl you come across will end up being only yours, having someone else getting a go with the Love Interests in any way, regardless of the circumstances, will be detrimental to a story you're trying to enjoy.

We don't play these things for the legality, ethicality, or reality of the depicted situations, it's a fantasy.

Just to be clear, I'm not saying the complaints of a work having or not NTR are justified or valid, but just as the devs have any right to put whatever kind of content they want into their products, a potential player has the right to know if it contains things that would otherwise prevent them from enjoying the experience, as well as voice their opinion or criticism of it, and neither the Dev or the other players have to agree to it; just ignore it, and be done with it.

"The Anti-NTR-Brigade" ? Don't make me laugh pls. Fragile dudes? How ? Just because someone doesn't like that "Alpha Male" kink, automatically they're fragiles? If someone raise some valid critism ( either for or against NTR) i don't see the problem of it existing.

About complaining, honestly most of the game i play and follow doesn't have NTR or at least is avoidable, so i hear more about complaining about the lack of NTR than the contrary.

Honestly at this point, i'm leaning more on the side of you trolling hard. Because we may have given varition of the Netorare definiton but the gist of it remain the same. MC get cheated on by someone else, it's distress in him ( if aware) and basically it's glorified adultery.

Is it worth it to play right now, or is it better to wait until the game is completed, however many years that will take?

As I thought, I ran into too many moments where even the features were unfinished, so I deleted the game and will be back if it ever gets finished, the version number makes it look like the game is almost completed, but that couldn't be further from the truth.

Never trust versioning on anything, it depends on the developer what it means, it could very well be that we'll end up going all the way to 0.1000.99.abc and still be less than halfway through.

aslo with every tred m panner is actually everyone or almost everyone likes what's in it and basically NTR is great extensively and almost everything is mainly in secret.

The way he keeps splitting up his updates into 9s makes me think he is going for a 1.0, I doubt the man himself even knows what he is going for
