Ahh, there really isn't a way to do that and frankly it doesn't impact anything currently.
The idea behind the karma system is there being basically three routes/outcomes.
Good
Neutral
Bad
Currently the dev is only doing the Neutral path with some previews of the bad karma here and there.
Frankly, I'll be happy if he can finish just the one route. Not hatting on the guy but the dev process has been very slow.

Nah I bet the rioters broke into his home and cough infront of irphaeus then leaves without explaining anything and now irphaeus have covid again. Then he calls an ambulance to fetch him to the hospital, and while on the way there, some fat otaku's car crashed into the ambulance irphaeus was in. Irphaeus tried to call the tow truck to tow the ambulance but the tow truck drivers says it's too hot here in france and the driver said that he is towing all the air conditioners from irphaeus's house to his own home instead. After that irphaeus tries to call a taxi driver but then the taxi driver said that he quitted his job because waifu academy took too long for an update. Now Irphaeus had no choice but to walk to a nearby hospital that is located in china.

So first time player, is it worth bothering with? Sounds like a lot of people like the game enough to get pissed about the dev slacking off.
Game starts off strong but becomes pretty shit towards the end and not because it's unfinished, but because the mc is not as clever and focused as he used to be
It very much is worth playing. Lots of very good content. But ya, once you hit the end of what's available, it's a long time between updates.
I'd give it a go.

Nope, last time anything was said about the progress on Discord was from one of Irphaeus' sidekicks on 25th of June. It was also the same day the latest progress post was posted on Patreon. After that, no word about the progress.

Image and animation quality is default Honey Select, so... between mediocre and average. The story is completely linear and it can get very silly sometimes although it's quite original.
Its strong points are a very funny script, great narrative and awesome characters. They're very well defined, the dynamics between them are great and among the women there are many different stereotypes and all of them quite attractive.
This is true for... the first 80% of current content I'd say. Past that, the dev became unmotivated or uninspired and every aspect has become duller and duller with each update.
That's the reason for people not to be happy about the current state of development. But it doesn't change the fact that the game still has a few good hours of gameplay to enjoy abundantly.
