The best thing to do with this game is just to play other stuff and dont wait on an Update here. Waifu Academy is a great game, even if it is weaker than at the beginning. And it is always worth playing, especially if you get it for free from here.
However, dont wait for Updates. Just play other games from your backlog (from here or "regular" games) and when there is an update for Waifu Academy, go for it.

Game is worth playing for sure. However, if you're looking to play this game hoping for a completed product in the next 2 years, then look elsewhere.
Man I wish I had a dozens of simps hurling me cash to sit on my ass for stuff I did years ago.

I was a patreon for a while and honestly it seems like the Dev is just lazy and farming monthly revenue while having nothing to show for it. Hardly receives updates and when updates are announced something always goes wrong, its a shame too because the game has promise and can be VERY good but I don't see it ever being completed and feel like the creators behind it are just going to milk releases as long as possible. waited months for .09 to b released and now even LONGER for .10 to be released when it was announced near what seems to be towards the beginning of the week. Very slow, underwhelming progress from incompetent devs. I regret being a patron for as long as i was to these possible scammers. - btw the LAST update was just a revision of the previous game and only tweaked some dialogue and animations (didn't really add anything that could justify the 4-6month wait time) - Save your money or become a patron to Game Devs who are actually worth it, like LoveStory (devoted wife)
currently on version .09 and we have been waiting around 6 months for .10 (still delayed) come back in 6 years

It's 60k lines of dialogue and code, and it has to be reworked from the start to add the Karma system and the new intro.
It took us lot of time, thanks to Galewind for his incredible work on this.
We managed to do it, but the beach scene script itself took a delay because of that and vash received the script late to work with. The beach is a very big scene and i undersetimatd the time for Vash to write and proofread thousand of lines on the various option/outcomes the beach scene offer. "
As always, bad time management and the karma system are the reasons why it's delayed.
