Just gonna assume this game has been abandoned, since there hasn't been any updates in 4 months.
Writing and developing a full fledged story and on top of that making gorgeous backgrounds and shaders with fully animated 3D sex scenes like these require time especially for the writing part.
The dude clearly values how his story is told, Hence why its probably taking so long.
Writing a story that is both enjoyable and immersive is a very hard feat and not everyone can do it.
Just be thankful he hasn't went on a 2 year hiatus again. Took Grow a pair and wait longer.

Well the writing thing is not that hard considering that nowdays Chat gpt exists...It would make it a little easier to write the story and the dialogues, the " making gorgeous backgrounds and shaders with fully animated 3D sex scenes like these require time " will be up to the dev and how much content he creates for each scene...

Out of all the things you could use Chat GPT for, did you really have to pick the worst one? I don't use Chat GPT much, but I've seen people using it on live streams, and creating coherent stories or meaningful dialogue is something I've never seen Chat GPT do right.

I could even give you an example right now. You just have to see ANY of the videos of the youtuber dougdoug where he uses chat gpt to see how little it takes for it to go off the rails and starts making random shit happen, like gods descending in world war 2 to help one country or monkeys in a zoo suddenly inventing sci fi tech out of nowhere. ¿And yet you think using chat gpt for writing is a good idea?.

God save us all if more people start thinking that too.... ¿Could you imagine the insanity that chat gpt would spit out if irphaeus were to describe the story so far and ask chat gpt to write the next part?

I never said that the dev should use ChatGPT to write his game's dialogue's or the plot in general , I just said that someone could use this tool ( Chat GPT) as an assistance to help him do the work in half the time....Chat GPT is a tool ...At least that is how i see it

Yeah, you're just saying "well Microsoft Word exists so writing must not be hard". ChatGPT writing is garbage full stop, both in language and in storytelling.

I don't think you're comprehending what he's saying. Yes, you can use Chat GPT as a tool to do everything for you, but you can also use it to give you ideas. For example: instead of prompting it to write the scene out for you, and copy and pasting it as is, you can pick and choose the parts that you like and work for you, and use those parts to improve your own writing.

Selective plagiarism through an anonymous aggregate tool is still plagiarism, especially when the parts that are recognizable and get the best results are copied word-for-word from the places the Generative Promt Tool stole it's materials from.

Chat GPT is better used for filling in repetitive lines of code, not for writing smut in any fashion.

I'm not even gonna get into it with you on chat GPT. Giving all the work to a robot and remove all the passion from the writing is just a awful idea. Let me be blunt, Rome wasn't built in a day. If the creativity requires another 5 years for this game to get wrapped up then I'll gladly wait. If it means we keep getting this type of quality. Quality requires time. As for the whole animation argument. you gotta understand at the end of the day the dev is human, So are his co workers. They're capable of feeling being burnt out. Might I ask, have you ever slaved over a computer trying to get stuff done? Scripting,Messing with animation skeletons to get the physics to shake and jiggle just right? Without the physics colliding or buggin the fuck out? Don't even get me started on the fact software can just decided to eat shit. I think you take forgranted how much hard work making a game actually is.

To you the player it seems like a 3 - 2 minute sex scene but that took probably took anywhere from 1 hour to a entire day to correct. A lot of people in this comment section has the tendacy to forget how hard developing a game is. You can't rush creativity. Period. I think its impressive someone can slave over a computer all day to get this stuff done. In my personal take. Unless you can write 3000 lines of dialogue and script, 11 new scenes with 250, 3D renders and 26 sex animations scenes in 2 - 3 months I'm not gonna take you seriously. That's a lot of work.

Again feel free to take inspiration from dear old bender here.

Yes you can use chat GPT for inspiration but it would debatably send the writing of the game in the toilet. I'd rather the dev come up with his ideas ON the toilet then from the toilet.

I don't know how you can draw that conclusion. A good idea is a good idea regardless from where it comes from.

Its not really a good idea if you're relying on a robot to finish a piece of art.
You loose the originality that comes from telling a human story, It might result in more generic solutions to a story climax or even plainer or more predictable endings. Just flat out lazy.

I understood it perfectly and let me repeat myself.

While it's true that ChatGPT can offer ideas, there's a issue with relying on it for "improving your own writing" you're not considering. The process of writing is deeply personal, and a crucial part of developing your skills as a writer comes from engaging with the struggle and challenge of creating something new from complete scratch. When you’re picking and choosing parts of what an AI generates, you're not challenging yourself or your creativity my guy you're relying on something external to do the heavy lifting for you. As a result you’re bypassing the critical thinking and practice that come with forming your own unique voice and style as well as proper a ending. Writing is more than just putting words on a page its about crafting sentences, understanding pacing, exploring character development, and finding your own flow.

The most impactful writing comes from hours of hard work, rewriting, and refining, not from taking shortcuts. While ChatGPT can be helpful for brainstorming or generating ideas in the early stages, it should be seen as a supplement to the writing process, not a substitute for it. In the end, it's your original thoughts, creativity, and voice that will make your writing stand out not the parts you borrowed from an AI.
