I guess people will be more patient if the updates will not be about massive blue balls with the majority of girls. I'm all good with build up, but damn, you always fuck the two same girls (your sis and the "journalist", except for the last update with the milf next door but it was very short), and considering the amount of characters it's gonna be a while to see the MC having fun with all of them at this point. As someone said before at least make the MC fucks Elizabeth on the train lol.

It's a good game though, one of my fav VNs out there, the situations and the plot are very fun.

Q: WHEN IS THE NEW UPDATE COMING OUT?
A: It is planned to be out around mid-June.

Q: IS THERE A DISCORD, AND IF SO, HOW DO I GET IN?
A: Yes, there is; but you have to pledge to him on Patreon. Fortunately, if you are are unsure if you want to pledge, bonus images for Patreons and other news from the Discord is commonly leaked onto this thread, so you can get a taste of what you would be paying for. As a note, the milestones on his Patreon state that he will hire more people as the number of backers increases. So, if you like what he's doing but want it to potentially arrive a little bit faster, consider showing some love.

Q: WHO IS "X" GIRL?
A: There is a handy picture guide, but to answer the most common inquires:
  • The girl with short brown hair without glasses is your sister, Sheila.
  • The nurse with long brown hair and glasses is Rachel.
  • Your teacher with short brown hair is Keiko.
  • The Italian art teacher is Isabella; the red-haired MILF is Catherine.
  • The singer that commonly dresses in red plaid is Yuna.
  • The headphones girl with darker skin is Yoko.
  • Your mother, who now has a Fench fashion sense, is Tomoe.
  • The karate girl is Takamura.

Q: WHAT IS THE MOST RECENT VERSION?
A: 0.6.4a, it ends with a scene involving your mother after a day with the red-headed family. You will know it when you see it.

Q: HOW DO I GET/CHEAT IN MONEY?
A: Currently money is being used as a plot device as opposed to anything useful to the player. In other words, even if you cheated in money, you couldn't buy anything yet. It has been rumored that the shop will either be useful a little ways down the road (when there is an in-game reason to have any of the items) or with the completion of the first main path. Time shall tell, but for now, no over-priced bottles of wine for you.

Q: "X" IS BEST WAIFU!
A: That's not a question, but I respect your opinion.

Q: DO OLD SAVES WORK/CAN I HAVE A 100% SAVE?
A: They do, and while there are a few completed saves in this forum, if you don't care for dialogue and just want the scenes, you can fast-forward through the whole game in about 30-45 minutes, or over an hour if you follow every path and roll-back. So, a completed save isn't really necessary.

Q : IS THERE A WALK-THROUGH FOR THE GAME ?
A : Similar to the previous question, it isn't really required. WA is a story-based game that currently has one "true" path with various detours and off-shoots here and there. In other words, prior to the newest update, there is only one choice that will move the story forward, with the others leading to dead ends or "to be updated" stops. With version 0.6.4a there are at least 2 instances where you can diverge without de-railing, however, and many more are expected to come with time. Thus, while there are fun little tidbits to find if you stray from the road, you can always roll-back and press on if you made a dead-end decision.

Q: WHAT IS THE BESTIALITY TAG ALL ABOUT?
A: There is a scene where a dog licks a girl's vagina, and she thinks it fucks her if you make a certain choice. Most agree that doesn't really count, but there you are.

Q: HOW DO I ESCAPE THE LOCKERS? IS IT A BUG?
A: No, while it is a bit counter-intuitive, it isn't a bug. Simply continue to search the lockers until you find a pile of "treats." Then you can escape the void that is the lockers.

Q: OTAKU WAS JUST KICKED IN THE NUTS, BUT I CAN'T TALK TO THE GIRLS! I'D LIKE TO REPORT THIS BUG!
A: That is very kind of you, and the community as a whole appreciates your diligence and efforts to make the game even better. In this case, the creator has been informed, and a fix can be found in the thread, or will be found pre-patched into the next update. As a reminder, it is slated to come out in mid to late June.

Q: IS IT OKAY TO DISCUSS THEORIES ABOUT THE PLOT?
A: As far as I know it's fine, but be sure to /spoiler if you are discussing anything related to events from the story. Or so I've been told.

Don't know if anyone else mentioned this in the several posts since this one went up...
However... Rachael has RED hair, not long BROWN hair... This is confirmed by the fact that the MC even refers to her as a "redhead that he already deals with" when thinking of what he'd like to do with Catherine...

I normally avoid the Japanese type games as they tend to in my view get outrageous and things escalate to a mind boggling level very quickly but I really enjoyed playing this game and also found it to be very funny in parts. I kind of hope you don't end up corrupting the crazy karate girl though as I like her and think she deserves to have a happy ending.

I personally think Inari is the cutest one in the game as well, and REALLY hate the idea of feeding her to that "bottom feeding, disgusting, old pervert" Thomas... would rather keep her all for myself. lol But seriously, pretty much all the girls/women in this game are cute as hell, and should be MINE!!! *giggles with naughty intent*

I may have gone on a rant or fifteen to that effect, yeah.
But you put your finger on the underlying problem. We have a huge cast and only very few parts of it are "interactive" in a meaningful way. It overdoes the teasing and cheapens the characters we can interact with at the same time. I like the sister, but the way she seems to function as a sexual lightning rod is kinda unsatisfying. Elizabeth/Inori/Takamura/teacher gives you blue balls, so you go dump one in Sheila. Yeah, no, she should be a little more important than that.

hey how do you change the script? i have files scripy.py and script.pyo but they don't allow me to fix the problem

Those are not the files you should be messing whith, those form part of the engine itself and have nothing to do with the game per se.
If you really want to:
  • Get a program called UnRen, is here in the forums somewhere.
  • Put it in the game's folder where the WaifuAcademy.exe is and run the program.
  • Select option 2 and wait, the program will make a new file inside a folder called game.
  • You can close the program now, launch the game, and wait for it to start.
  • Once it does, you should find a whole bunch of new files inside the game folder.
  • You will find both, *.rpy and *.rpyc files, move them to another folder, you don't want them in there.
  • Amongst those files, there's one called script.rpy, that's the file you want.
  • Open it using a text editor, Notepad++ is a nice one but any should do, even notepad.
  • Edit lines 21092 & 21094 or 21150 & 21117, your choice, save the changes (make a backup beforehand of course)
  • Move that file back to the game folder et voila, your game is fixed.
A little warning thou, it may work the first time no problems, but the game may crash next time you play it due to conflicts in the files, this is the reason why I haven't bothered to post the fix myself, is just too bothersome.

All being said, you ain't missing anything for choosing the firs choice, check my post on the previous page.
