I couldn't be bothered to find out which save does what so I just attached my entire save folder, so either load them in 1 at a time to find the start or beware of spoilers.

I believe it starts with the maki scene, Some groping with tits McGee in MCS house, Shelia scenes, an Asuka scene, then a "sorta" Elizabeth scene but her scene leads to a bad end.

Like most, my saves aren't working, but I stumbled on a workaround of sorts.
Being disappointed I couldn't continue, I started idly poking around in the replay gallery (of which Catherine's first encounter scene picture button STILL doesn't work) and went through Maki's last scene in the last update... only to be surprised that not only did it continue, but that it just keeps going far into the storyline of this update. Not sure how this will affect the registering of any new replay scenes, if they do at all. It's also officially in replay mode, so you can't save. Still, if you want to see how the story continues as I do, this is an option.
EDIT: Discovered that if I went all the way back to the choice of advising Maki in the guys' locker room on what kind of Gi to bring to the shoot, the saves before that decision worked fine. All the save after that have to be replaced.

Irphaeus talks about the different endings every now and then and I'm pretty sure he hasn't said there won't be a harem ending but he hasn't said there will either. However, after the bathroom scene with Asuka and a few interactions with other girls, I think a harem ending might be in the cards. Maybe not all of the girls but we might get the ones that are either too obsessed with MC to leave or are already open to the idea of sharing. For example, Minami knows she's the MC's pet so she'd likely be open to the idea of sharing her "master" with some other girls like Asuka (who said she wants to see MC fuck her mom in this update) and/or Sheila. I hope Irphaeus will make a route for all of them though but it sounds like there might not be enough time to establish the rest of the groundwork for a complete harem (only 4 updates left).
It's pretty common for teenage daughters (and sons) to call their parents by their first name. Sheila is probably written to say that because the dev wants us to know that she doesn't have a good relationship with her father

Well, I didn't bother going through it's script, but at this time, from what's effectively in the game, he use the keyword "menu" to display the choices, and then "labels" & "jump". Since the karma's not doing anything, I doubt there's even a variable check, and even if there was, that's just an "if" to add ^^ There's nothing complicated, and i'm pretty sure it's one of the first entry in the Ren'py tutorial ^^
The only thing where I could agree, is that in theory, while writing the story (He should be writing it before "coding" it in Ren'py, if not, he's plain dumb, I mean, an architect make a plan before starting to build a house, right?), it's should be more complex if you want to have choice that effectively affect the story (since you can forget about it since you're not likely writting the story in one go^^ and then you lose consistancy), but it's not the case at all for now, and then it still doesn't have anything to do with "coding" (Since once the story is written, you "only" have to follow your own script, granted you can make a few mistake, that's why it should be tested & corrected, but that process can't be taking month like some excuses he gives).
And by the way, it's not (look at the spoiler down there), but let's say it was somewhat difficult.. He's been at it for more that 3 years.. You can't possibly say that he's could still be unfamiliar with it right? I'm pretty sure that even a kid who just learned to write and read could understand/do it in less that 3 years. (Since you don't even need to know how that work, just what the label and the jump keyword do).

You may really think that and not trying to troll us, and obviously there's always people that denigrate a work/dev that does his job for no reason(or just because the game doesn't go where they want), but there's nothing to say that can "clean" Irphaeus of all the half-assed excuse and lies that he makes up.

I aint ever done or seen that growing up LOL, but as for the second part yea. That's what I figured, either they displaying her as a terrible relationship somewhat problem child. Or it was just mistaken in the text. That aside, I aint even gonna talk on the potentiality of next month cause I rather not jinx it. Though I'm interested to see this release. Despite it being from what I can tell short.
Well then I might have misremembered, regardless there are a lot of tutorials made by people who cover this exact thing, it's almost copy and paste. There are *so* many damn games on this site alone that have this branching choices stuff it's not even funny. From Waifu Academy to V.I.R.T.U.E.S, to Chemical Change, to Naughty Lyanna, to like Harem Hotel.
Again, there are no path's', there is one path and a few minor temporary deviations from it that are forgotten the moment you're back on the one path. Of course the "will be" is key, nobody should judge something based on what "will be" but rather on is right now. The 'will be' is a Word document at best right now, not actual practical code

Ngl fantastic game so far. The dialogue is witty, top tier girl designs and I'm really really loving the dynamic between MC and Sheila. Best part of the game.

I don't think it's out yet, which is a shame, because usually I play out the best karma path, then the choices I would actually make, then the worst karma path, and the WT really helps with the choices
