It honestly blows my mind how a game like this just keeps getting longer and longer in development time with each update. Usually, when you do something for long enough, you get better at it. Not worse.
It honestly blows my mind how people can find more and more ridiculous ways to complain. Usually, when you do something for long enough, you get better at it. Not worse. Here's a hint for you... the more variables you have to track, the more work it takes. Get it now?

He didn't say he was a scammer. He said that the longer you work on a dev project the faster it should go. The more mature a project gets the longer it takes to add new functionality as you have to touch more places, consider impact across more areas and perform more testing. So... from my perspective as a developer he's not right.

I have no opinion on if someone is or is is not a scammer.

I know what he said, but the update development keeps getting longer and longer because Irphaeus is a scammer, you can ask anyone in this thread

I know he is not scammer but ... the less content you only get when he says there is more or bigger update.
Actually, we don't hate him ... We just have no confidence (totally) in him even the game models look so amazing.
But Nvm, you will become 1 of us so soon (then check-in from daily > monthly > quarterly > yearly).

My comment was only about the idea that "the longer you work on a code project the faster things should go". I don't know the author or anything about him other than the results of his efforts which I love. I try to avoid all talk of "when is the next update?" or "I should be releasing in January" or whatever and just take it as it comes. I have a list of all the titles I follow and I check the front page here on f95 once every month or two to see if the release date has changed.

As advice to any fans I would say that the best you can get from a dev is honesty. Setting a release date is basically trying to predict the future. You can't tell if you are going to have to work extra hours at your job, dog gets sick, girlfriend wants to go away or whatever. If a dev is straight with folks, set a date and then provides updates if things come up then you can't really expect more. I'm not saying this dev IS doing those things but that's what I'd look for if I was inclined to frequently check for information. Good luck mates.

I think its a question of terminology. I wouldn't call Irph a "scammer". To be a scammer, it would imply that he is coercing you to pay for something that is not real, which is not the case since he does EVENTUALLY deliver something. A more accurate term than scamming to describe what Irph does would be "milking", i.e. - Irph is milking his supporters harder than all the bovine anime girls on all the rule34-esque sites on the internet combined. If you want a scammer, look up Redamz - the creator of Monster Girl Island or Glacerose - the creator of Sylphine previously known as Sylphia Island.
