was anything added?? the game still ends with it saying "waifu academy version 0.12.0 end here" then it takes me back to the menu screen

This is one of the games that have gone on too long. The visuals are dated, the plot is nothing, the scope is creeping, the updates are few and far between, as much "effort" as they put into the start screen they forgot the rest of the UI, I don't really like any character, and frankly I got bored playing it. The sandbox was set up and useless. The store was absolutely nothing. Every section that opens up to multiple choices literally only has one choice. And by the time choices "matter" you no longer care. I think it's time to start wrapping this one up.

why add content? It already has the necessary subscribers, they just come and throw a crumb of bread every year so they don't mark it as abandoned. It's simply one of those novels that are there to make easy money. The renders are already old, but why finish the game? They make do with 15 minutes of new content every year.
Well my saves from v12 don't work, so I need to start at the beach scene girl choices.
Not a bad update, not massive, a few decent scenes, but the updates are so infrequent I forget what paths I'm supposed to be following. I suppose I'll skip this until it's finished ... if that ever happens.

Well, at least 1400 people do. Crazy, then you see some real dev working hard for good game barely making a living out of it, and this dude makes thousands of $ with a 20min update every year.
I was gonna comment about retarded download options with limited sites. These people expect me to wait for 1 hour of speed limited download so I can see 3 scenes? Fuck that.

Well the trick is to have consistent releases at the start,then when you think you have achieved stability,you can start milking. This irphaeus guy did just that,still rmbr the early days..I dont blame him for his lack of updates,but seriously who wouldn't want to be in his position.

here is my unofficial Android port of Waifu Academy v0.12.5.
install the app. after a fresh install, run it once to create all the required folders. read
then you have to copy the asset pack to the folder
from now on my Android ports of Ren'Py games have a 2nd, persistent save location like Windows. if you uninstall an app, the save files and persistent data remain intact.
therefore the app needs the permission to access the public external storage (or a new one on Android 11+), because it has to read and write outside its own external storage directories.
you have to grant the permission or the app is shut down.
