I encountered the same problem and I found a solution. I play with the French translated version and I encountered at least 3 or 4 sex scenes that freeze. The solution (which works for me), is to put the game back in English just before the scene that freezes, spend a few frames in English, then switch back to French. For each scene that blocked, this solution worked.
Interesting.... how did you change languages since I'm not seeing that as an option in the menu system?

I downloaded and installed a patch in the source folder. This is not a patch created by the dev, but by the community. It adds the language selection to the options menu.
