For some reason, when I try to run the game now, It just gives me a black screen? I can hear the in-game music fine, but the screen is just black...
Anyone here has the same issue? If so, how did you fix it. I already tried to a fresh reinstallation of the game, but it still gives me the same problem.

Hmmm maybe I'm dumb but seems fine for me.
The first option it's endure a bit more and the second one it's give up
I mean the first one shows you acquiring the crab, but then in further scenes it notes you don't have it, and vice-versa for the second option.

I believe that just meant you're eligible to get it if you pledged at certain tiers for that length. I'm pretty sure he's said he'll still give it out to those that are eligible even if they're not supporting anymore, but it'll only be once the game is finished.
Edit: Took a look at the page and he has this at the end of the about section:
