I think the "massive update" is just rewriting the whole spaghetti code, and why the hell did he say "we have time problems with holidays, exams..." like the 1591 donors, and you tell me that you don't work full time on the game that gives you a lot of money, and you don't even care or take the time to make it as good as possible, you just make excuses and then the update comes out after a long time and then you say, no, this update is massive, we "rewrote" a lot of code, then you see the new scenes, 2 or 3 and well, you wait 2 weeks to see 1 more scene :3, and 1 year or more for the same thing ;3What happened to the update being a 'massive' 'two in one' update which should have been done in two more weeks? Instead, about 6 weeks later it's suddenly only the first of two parts which is done, essentially making it the first of two updates and the whole point of it being a 'two in one update' obsolete. When can 'part two' be expected then?

Did any of the scenes that specifically got mentioned in the post make it into the 'part one' update or was it just a teaser for 'part two'? Clearly the post was talking as if most of the renders were already done, even going as far as saying that some renders and animations had to be remade to match new dialogue, yet we are still only at 'part one'. Depending on how long 'part two' takes it really is questionable what was actually being done behind the scenes, it feels like the update may intentionally be cut in two to get support for two separate months.
He has forever and a day been one for few updates a year. You cannot come out of the wood work and accuse him of milking the subs when he literally has a loooooooooong history of doing things this way. I get some can be accussed of milking when they magically remaster a game starting from scratch and you get little content and small patches through the year when they USED to be reliable such as Summertime Sage, WVM or Twisted World but Waifu Academy? Cannot remember the last time he was consistent if ever at all lolhow does this guy keep all his subs?? with his constant bs excuses. People need to start talking with their money and unsub maybe then things will change, looks like people just like getting milked for 0 content.
Yes, the one thing this game needs is a complex web of choices, so that major scenes will have dozens of slightly different variants. Sounds like the best way to get even more substantial updates even faster! There's one thing that irritates me about this game is that it forces relationships a lot. There are characters in the game that I don't like and yet the protagonist has scenes with them, scenes that are forced. I know it's a harem game, but it would be good for the player to have the freedom to choose who they want to be with and not force the protagonist to have a relationship with a certain character.
i think HHG is the top 1 in that topic, no development in 3+ years, yet keeps saying that its in developmentHe has forever and a day been one for few updates a year. That's the downside of games with lots of characters. Out of all of them, I only like three or five, so I have to endure long periods of time with characters that bore me to no end. There's one thing that irritates me about this game is that it forces relationships a lot. Tomboy? Do you mean Maki Takamura? That's the downside of games with lots of characters. Out of all of them, I only like three or five, so I have to endure long periods of time with characters that bore me to no end.
The tomboy part was so boring that I did something I rarely do in these games: I skipped the dialogue.
