The point is that Kayane does not have yet the ultimate trust in the MC ... by the way vice versa. Do you remember this highly interesting and (to me) quite touching conversation these two had on the academy's floor when Kaya was almost going to let her mask fall and the MC offered her to help in case she needs his help? She was on the brink of telling him what she is planning ... but a phone call to her from her family (father?) stopped her from doing so. There is a strong band between Kaya and MC. They respect each other and they might develop feelings for each other. But the dev should really start to focuse on this instead of concentrating on trifles.

As I said it already a couple of times: The uncleared "relationship" between Kaya and the MC ist for me the most interesting part of ths VN. It's a pity and a shame that the dev relinquish the Kayane-story so much in the recent updates.

Writing certainly took a dive in the recent update. Not even the meme-style of that Otaku was good. Did the dev resort to using AI to do it for them?

Eh, might as well wait another month or two or three before the next part of that update drops. I do not even play through it properly at this point anymore, but just unlock the scenes and play them. I may give it a proper good and bad playthrough at some point in a bunch of years when that karma stuff actually does anything, if it ever does and I am still alive for it.

Rachel is just a nurse at the academy under Anders, who herself is under Shirohima. consider it a leap over two heads. Who should Rachel present herself as to Jira in order to become her client? Moreover, a client probably no less powerful than Shirohima. well, it seems to me that when you have two clients, two owners, and their interests intersect, then whose interests will be more of a priority for you? that's what I think too, if Shirohima is more powerful, then her interests are more of a priority, at least by the fact that her punishment can be much more terrible in consequences.
or Rachel is actually much more powerful and proved it to Jira, and her game of a weak nurse (remember the scene in the medical office of the academy) is just a game, a cover? oh yeah, if by the name Rachel we mean not the nurse-host herself, but the demon that lives in the nurse - then everything fits.

that is Kayane is equally powerful to Shiro?

but Kayane seems to have "access to the body" of her father, doesn't she? perhaps she could have asked her father to put in a good word with Jira about MC. then the request of the father as the de facto head of the Kendo clan would be in force, if not equal, then maybe even slightly outweigh the word of Shirohime in those cases when it concerns MC.

and damn, does anyone finally know the canonical name of MC? =) if I ever knew it, the early versions of the game have long been erased from my hard drive. and in the new version - I don't remember there being a preset name for MC.

Well depends on what choices you make, the battle did not end in a tie...Normaly Jira could break MC in half but went easy on him for the second time
