It's not a bug linked to clothes/makeup or anything the player can pick/custom, it's only linked to money.
When you have a certain amount of money (like 400M), you can trigger the scene with the Spider or the Caretaker. but it costs Millions to do it.
I also discovered that the Spider and the Caretaker can actually fall in love with you, even if they don't have a "heart", but they don't count as "girls in love" in the stats.

Check my screens below to understand :
1 - Spider reaction when I'm close to her (Love) (Money : 1B)
2 - Fuck scene with the Spider (Money : 808.7M)
3 - Caretaker reaction when I'm close to him/her (Love) (Money : 1B)
4 - Fuck scene with Caretaker (Money : 793.1M)

Something similar happens to the white lab girl in the sewers. she also can be interacted with and takes a lot of cash and have some nice poses. Hopefully fixing :eek: it doesn't mean disabling the animations.
EDIT. i wouldn't mind some "you can't afford me" context and then some "here's my money stuff"

The error you're mentioning is about the GPU (D3D Device = GPU).
Generally, when you have an error "D3D Device is lost", that means your graphics driver crashed.

Maybe try this :
1 - Update your GPU drivers (

2 - Set the virtual memory/paging file to "at least" the same amount of RAM you have (in your case 16384 in min and max fields).
What it does; simply speaking : The Paging file and your RAM works together, the paging file serves as a cache to help your RAM.
Per default, values of this cache are actually random since Windows does it in your back and that can cause a lot of issues in any games.

my gpu isn't the issue, I look at my task manager and when I run it I see that my memory gets used all the way to 100 and then my game crashes giving that error. I can play build 81 with max graphics and it doesn't crash for me lol. build 81 uses 60 percent of my ram. on 86 even at the lowest settings the game still crashes for me do to memory utilization.

Here are 3 different saves for lazy people or just for the veterans that don't want to grind again.
Based on Build 84.

1 - "100%"
● Everything is unlocked (Minigames, Floors, Clothes, Dildos, etc.)
● Level 200
● 1B money & 100K Sex points
● 158/158 girls are in love
● Prebuild house with Christmas & Halloween Portals + Specials NPCs (Slime Girl, Giant Girl, Mermaid)
● Every skills at 999
● Hired Girls at 999
● Default naked Dom female MC + Strapon NPCs

2 - "0%"
● Nothing is unlocked
● Level 200
● 1B money & 100K Sex points
● 0/158 girls are in love
● House is vanilla (untouched)
● Every skills at 999
● Hired Girls at 999
● Default naked Dom female MC + Strapon NPCs

3 - "A good start"
● Nothing is unlocked
● Level 60
● 100M money & 100K Sex points
● 0/158 girls are in love
● House is vanilla (untouched)
● Important skills at 50
● Hired Girls at 50
● Default naked Dom female MC + Strapon NPCs

Pick one and (re)place it in the folder (use Win+R to type this) : %LOCALAPPDATA%\Waifu_Dreams_City\Saved\SaveGames

Yeah I get it but the Task Manager from Windows is not a reliable tool to actually measure things and as I said before the error you're having is about your GPU, it's litterally wrote in it.
I'm also playing with 16GB of RAM as you do and the game runs perfectly well on the Build 84 and no, my RAM is not at 100%, not even close.
Try the solutions I gave you above or just wait for a patch.

I have 32 GB of RAM. I've tried every method to fix it, but the error keeps popping up. I'll wait until a more stable version comes out.

i have 16 gb ram and a gtx 970 on win 10 and the games runs up to 85. (i don't have 86)
saying how much ram you have says nothing of what might be the problem but at the end is a driver, directx or even c++ net framework thing problem. Totally on users end

I agree but you know.. IT isn't a sure science.
I honestly don't believe that it comes from DirectX, .NET Framework or C++ Runtime since the error is pretty explaining, if it was something else the error would have been different but anyway in cases of..

It seems the machines on floor 1 count, I was stuck at 156/158, I went to use both machines, and I got to 158/158

I kinda doubt that. I suspected them too when I was stuck at 156/158. But they didn't react. Their hearts were empty and still are.
Meanwhile I found the two missing girls. One had a heart which looked full but wasn't. There has to be a number ≥1 in the heart.

If you had already some girls in your house from old updates (I don't remember which ones exactly) and can't manage to get the 158 girls, that's cause of it.
You need to make them leave your house and go back to them, you will see that their heart is not full.

Yes that black random npc. I really don't want any random male NPCs walking around the street. I really hate the idea of another man watching my character having sex.
