If you didn't start the game from the beginning, but loaded on an old save, there may have been a bug in transferring saves to the new version. Create a save before Monday and send it to me in Discord, and I will manually fix it for you.

They should have a mod to change the MC's name in the middle of the game and to add money. You only earn 1 coin at the library. this game isn't worth playing without a mod or cheats.

You do realise that after the prolouge or somewhere in the early game you get an option to upgrade the town by calling Ash on the phone and 1 of those upgrades is the income. And if you upgrade your stats you can work more than once a day.
