Dark souls is hard, yet many enjoy it, Why? cuz its balanced. this game, however, is not. I've played really grindy games and still enjoyed them. Calling it "grind" and saying everyone should deal with it is no proper game dev aproach. Saying that just because it's free, and thus noone should speak ill of the game, yet again, not a proper aproach.

But sure, suck on devs dick however much you want, mindless coomsumer.

This is really not a particularly difficult game
You just need to spend time working out your preferred approach
Which is in keeping with a lot of the older RPG/open world type games

Most grinding can be reduced by switching from one repeated scenario to another at the appropriate times
Encounters approached in the correct order are usually not terribly difficult
There are options for making use of food/farming/potions to make some specific scenarios easier but they do take more grind (very few potions are actually necessary and enough food to remain alive is easily obtained)

It certainly isn't the most straightforward of games - a bit like a multi-part puzzle - but that is one of the reasons I like it so much

Being free does not mean it can't be criticised, but the majority of people saying negative things, are not providing criticism. They're whining and complaining about things, and the grindiness of the game is one of the least mentioned things that gets complained about.

this game has been developed for 3 years at this point. it doesnt take 3 years to fix balance issues.

You call it a "balance" issue, when it's not. It's a progression issue.
Also, Dark Souls and I-Frames are not balanced, nor is back-stabbing. They're cheap and lazy mechanics.

You paraphrased his words of frustration and cited them as not being "proper game development approach"... You wouldn't say that to someone who's not the game developer.

You also haven't shown where the actual dev has said anything remotely about "deal with it" in regards to the various grinds this game has.

Whether or not i-frames and backstabbing is cheap or lazy is debatable, but fixing that is far harder, than changing a few ++ in the code.

Stop complaining about a game that is completely free, the dev makes the game like he wants to.
