Check the candle left to the book in your bedroom. If it's burning, you can learn a new skill by studying said book.

There are a few scenes that are animated in I recall correctly. It's been awhile since I've played though, and don't remember which ones off the top of my head.

There is no gallery in game. If you have seen a gallery in a video it's probably was gallery mod. The link on it is in the first post, but I it's outdated and won't work with the current version of the game, I think
