You're right. I didn't read up on the game before I played it. I didn't think there was a reason to. When I got into this thread there were 700+ pages... that's not reasonable to ask anyone to go through to find information about the game's direction or grade of completion and neither is checking changelogs. So I asked the question here, hoping some kind soul would paint me the broad strokes. Thank you.
I'm not giving an ultimatum. What I'm saying is I didn't know the direction the game was made with and at the time I didn't know if it was close to complete. From that standpoint it seemed a good idea to address a point of feedback I had about the game - again I don't have the history of its development and don't know what issues have been discussed - but by addressing it I hoped to find out.
My idea was not to give an ultimatum but if the game's direction is not to my taste, then it doesn't make sense to me to give tips. Is that unreasonable?
You didn't. But I latched onto the conversation you, PBS666, OBLIVION, and a few others. I don't know why you're giving me lip for jumping in the discussion, but okay...When did I provide any "arguments" to you?

Again... no ultimatum. Just a matter of "does the game direction align with what I want?"
This is really not that difficult to understand.
And having no history, I don't know that. That's why I asked for people to help me understand where the creator and the fanbase stands on the subject.
Saying feedback is irrelevant is highly subjective. Unless you know the creator's mind on this. You said they changed their minds on something else, so to me it seems feedback is relevant - even still.
If I don't say anything, then my wishes are much less likely to be granted. And I'm perfectly clear on that they are wants/desires/wishes and not demands like you make it out to be.
I think I'm going to drop this conversation, as it seems you've already painted me a certain way and don't really want to change that view. So I think we'll just annoy each other by continuing.
