From the dev's SS, v1.0001: This is one of two planned patches like this, and after the next one I will completely move onto the new game, Village of Boobs.
So I'd wait for one more month, and then a couple of days for possible bugfixes.

Scheduler mod is updated for the v.1.000.1 of the game. There is a second update of the game planned (according to developer) so i would probably update mod for that version too.

pretty much answers your question yourself don't you think? yeah it's impossible... later you can encounter them in regular battle formations and can beat them up

The worthless fucking guide doesn't even mention that. Instead it insists you get freezing spells first, so I was hitting my head against the wall trying to get the freeze to trigger just when her health dropped to hopefully block the attack, but it triggers even when she's frozen.

You're right, the protagonist is male. At a certain point in the game he must however, through the powers of magic/alchemy, grow himself a pair of boobs. Later he can remove them again.
