Still feels like story was cut somewhere in the middle. No clear ending, no grand something to finalize MC's story.
Wake me up in the middle of the night - and I can write a few possible ending for Krowley, Eric, and the whole village.
But here - we have nothing, just another quest - and suddenly, nothing more. Eric story don't have a conclusion - even his hints about training with seasoned futa adventurer remains just a hint. Same with all story arcs.
Some characters seems to lack a few scenes. Like that brother Colt or whatever-his-name-was.
Why it is done in such way? Unknown. Maybe dev got tired and wanted to work on something else. Or because of some other reasons.
Hope in his next game there will be better story. Because with high quality art like that decent story and mechanics are "must have".

There is definitively an ending scene. It's not a grande finale, but it is an ending nevertheless.
And Eric surely "trains" with a seasoned futa adventurer. Maybe you missed the scene where Jaina drills Eric (afternoon, Eric's camp, repeatable)?
The dev clearly indicated months ago that the game was finishing as he envisioned it. And after 10 years, I think it's very understandable that he wanted to move on to his new project.

It seems you either did not read, or did not understand. Repeatable scene - is repeatable scene. Repeatable scene as conclusion of an arc is lame shit. Because it is just repeatable scene.
I'll make an example about Eric.

In the game we can see he blushes sheepishly in the beginning. And he did that same damn thing in the end. Character development degree: zero.
Same shit for every character.

Yes, it is understandable. But I did begin with "...feels like" didn't I? Can I understand devs desire to move forward? Yes.
Did story feels like suddenly ending? Yes.

What about simpler changes like modded potions, would those be more doable? I'd like to play around with some of the values if possible, maybe make big load potion take longer to wear off, or make it permanent and add a second potion to turn it off. But even when I extract the rgss3a file contents, it looks like the key rvdata files are the encrypted ones.

I admittedly know very little about coding, what few mods I've made are usually simple value changes and are developed by trial and error lol
From what I'm seeing, the game just checks if Krowly has the "Big Load" status, but there's a variable called "Big Load Timer". I can't find where that variable is used, but making it permanent wouldn't be too hard. Simplest way to do it without knowing any Russian would be to make a switch activated parallel common event that constantly re-adds the status (and sets the timer just in case). You'd add a wait timer (preferably 60 frames or above) at the end so it doesn't have a performance impact. I'd probably wrap it into some kind of "super krowly" cheat that gives him infinite lust and other benefits.

Let's agree to disagree then.
